We will now go to overtime, 2 ten minute halves if still tied then PKs.

Looks like happygilmore wins in OT, in the Glotz thread.

South 0
FCD squeaked by one. South had the ball the whole second half.

But not pretty. Feet will turn into a good team with some new additions. think some players were 03's-not sure how many, but they held their own .

AirForceOne wrote:I think regular Glotz players played with Tim B coaching. One quit on spot after game apparently playing time was not up to par (no worries -one of top crazy parents) so no biggie. They will be an issue(problem) wherever they go -so good luck to the team that gets that crew, you guys know it's true . Several were suppose to watch GRubb today (small skilled hispanic midfielder, and left defender, fast forward and keeper). Many want to practice with Grubb-many went to practice with Feet. None seem to want to go to Higgy-after the "together but separate" practice-seems Texans organization brought big guns out to watch teams do same drills side by side and from inside scoop in Texans office-There was no comparison between the two. Higgy will be top team if Glotz/Bennett stays together or not. Just passin it along folks.
I'm curious to know now that there's been time for the dust to settle around the carnage; do you think this is the intended outcome the parents wanted from their infamous 'powerplay powwow'?
What did they expect if the conspiracy theory were true? For Ryan to cop a plea and admit he asked his underling to throw the game because he was so insecure as a new coach for this age group and it was a career altering game??!! Then what?
OR
Did they think that if they stomped their feet and had a little temper tantrum he would come to recognize how much they have improved and how well they have played together as a team? Do you think he would have said forget those Rowdie girls? That it doesn't matter how successful the Rowdies have been playing in an upper age bracket, he was going to take over Glotz's team as his team because they are so darn scrappy.
OR
Did they think that half their team could transition over and take spots from the starting players? That would've been a highly unlikely scenario.
So instead of having a solid top Texan team with a tenured coach in which players could have progressed upwards maybe over time due to skill improvements, player departures, injuries etc..,it was considered better to attack their coach (or system)then jump ship into the unknown after the sh*! hits the fan.
Baffled and saddened about it all. It's really too bad that it came down to this but hopefully the girls will rebound from it and embrace their new soccer home, make new friends, and thrive in the sport. Their Texan friends will miss them. Best of luck.
Be careful what you wish for because sometimes the greener the pasture the thicker the manure underneath.
