It is more about the wins and the GotSoccer points to compensate for the losses during season play. All I have to say is Stark must be a good salesman, because I can tell you I wouldn't be buying what ever he was selling to get this past the parents.

Do teams earn GotSoccer points at this age? Doesn't it start at U12? Maybe Dynamo is trying to get some wins, but maybe its something else. Lots of player movement sure to go on after PTCL. Maybe they are trying out some new players or who knows, even lost some players.

Your assumptions are incorrect. Our manager, tourney director and coach decided 2 months ago that Dynamo would be playing in this tournament before we even heard who would be playing in the Texans and/or Aces tourney. Part of that decision was not playing the weekend before or after Thanksgiving. Also, the majority of Dynamo plays volleyball and has a season ending tournament the same weekend as the Texans tourney. Pure and simple it’s a scheduling issue.

We enjoy the competition. In fact, we had to fight a bit to get into the PT league (league was full and we had to help find another team) so that we would be able to play tougher competition and we will be there again next season.

I believe the next tourney we are thinking about is the TFC Blue cup in December. Maybe we will see everyone there.

As far as Solar Stark, my understanding was that coach did not want his teams playing on the same weekend so they signed up for that tourney without seeing what teams were playing in it. I think that if you were to check the current team listing that they are no longer on it.

If Renfro Red brings all those Grubb girls that have been playing with him in SDL then I guess the final will by Dynamo & FCD Red.

Just to set the record clear, FCD Renfro Red has only had one player who has guested on occasion. We do have another player that started on our roster and is playing for both Grubbs and Renfro at this time. The success of the team lately is due to a talented group of girls that formed over the summer and are now really starting to gel. Just for your info.
