A team from New Mexico that is playing in the Thanksgiving Showcase U17's is short a couple of field players due to injury and are looking for some help. The Showcase will be Friday,Saturday & Sunday following Thanksgiving. If your dd is going to be in town and wants an extra showcase opportunity please PM me and I can get you the details.

I'm kinda feeling sorry for this New Mexico team if we don't have any U17's in the neighborhood interested in playing this weekend. I'm sure if a U16 is up to it they wouldn't mind the help.

U17's play at Cox Field in Farmers Branch. Cox Park and Vivian Field, Farmers Branch, Texas From 635 (LBJ), Exit at Josey Lane. Turn north on Josey. Go to Valley View
Lane, and turn left. The 2nd light is Dennis Lane. Turn right on Dennis Lane.Cox Fields will be on your right before the next intersection.

Yep, I knew it would be a longshot but we have been in their boat before and though not as bad I still wanted to try and help them find some players. Might just not be possible but we tried.

We were in this situation a few years ago. We had to forfeit but then "borrowed" some girls from the team we were scheduled to play. It actually worked out well. Since this is a showcase, being seen is the primary goal. Maybe they can do this if everyone agrees?

Yep and much appreciated I'm sure. The mgr said the girls fit right in and were very pleased they were able to participate. Thanks to the TFC organization for your help this past weekend and I hope the girls had a good time.
