Will be most interested in the Rangel v Oklahoma game and Rangel v Renfro, the rest should be a walk in the park, Sting O'Keefe is falling apart and the rest aren't very stout. Rangel should win in the end but that little Oklahoma team is pretty scrappy from the times I have seen them play.

That's unfair. Jen never said they were so great. They should win this. If they did not lose any players they are the best team in this. Anything could happen. Renfro will give them a good final, if it works out that way. We know who Jen team is, who do you stand behind "passthedarnball"? Come on put it out there.

Agree that Jen_nah has never said Rangel's team was top 2-4 team or 'great.' Seems to me all she has done is defend her team's ability to play competitive soccer--which they certainly can. No 02 team players harder than Rangel's team. Period.

as for the tourney, if what we hear on hear is close to correct..than Liverpool is pretty banged up and has lost a good player recently. That combined with Renfro's 'ability' to pull in some Grubb players at a moment's notice probably means Renfro is the better team next weekend.

I also agree with the South Lakes Cosmos thoughts..they play hard and are tough to score on.

What about TFC elite? They are no slouches either if memory serves. Should be 4 teams battling for it.

Agreed. Southlake Cosmos will win this unless FC Dallas has to depend on guests.

Our little scrappy LP team is almost 100% recovered and we plan to go give it our all next weekend. Never said we are the best but those girls give it 100% each time and that is all any parent can ask for. We look forward to the challenge all these teams will bring.

Do I secretly hope our team wins absolutely no lying about it but I think all parents feel that way or we wouldn't be human. We just want to see all their hard work pay off. No matter what I will be cheering our little LP girls to the end.

I never said Jen said they were so great. I said if they are 1/2 as good. There is a difference. I have seen them play, and everyone is correct, they play hard. I too, think they should win this tournament, unless like 02dad predicts, FCD Renfor shows up with sheep dressed in wolves clothing.

And I don't have to declare a team yet. This is academy and I am shopping around.

I wouldn't count out TFC 02 Larry to provide some good competition. All in all should be a great tournament and it's never over until the whistle is blown.

That would be a cool final to watch. Heck... I might give up a portion of Sunday to go watch that!

Don't think it would be much of an upset, the Oklahoma team is pretty good and the competition is not too intense unless Renfro's bench grows mysteriously.

Cosmos win 2-1

I actually forgot about Rangel, I am used to seeing DT in front of it versus LP. That being said, it all depends on how deep the Renfro bench gets!!! Rangel is a far better team than Renfro straight up but hey, it's academy soccer and the Texans, who knows what team will show up.
