Great tournament and fun to watch the small sided games. Congrats to the Southlake Saints with a 2-1 win over Solar Gio in the finals. It was a great game by both squads.

No doubt Saints came to play and they certainly outplayed Solar in the final. But that wasn't the Solar Gio coach and it wasn't just Solar Gio girls. Probably should have registered under a different name for the tourney so folks would know it was just a dad who got together 6 girls to go have fun and play at the 5 v 5 tourney. Out of the 6 girls that played, three different teams were actually represented..since most came from Solar Gio...I guess that is why they used that name.

Again...Southlake Saints were impressive. Nice passing, fast girls! Great job!

thats what we heard as well. we were going to enter this tournament once we heard solar gio was playing. we wanted to get a little redemption from our last meeting, LOL. anyways we found out that the coach which i think his name is gevon was not coaching we decided not to play and take a little break. i think there was 4 girls from the team playing so they decided to go with the name.

we heard it was a good turn out, great job saints!!!

Dad that coached this put together team over the weekend did a great job, Saints just brought their A game to the finals.

Deep Thought: Maybe it was just a collection of players from Southlake that decided to play and call themselves SAINTS... Non-Saints playing Non-Solar?? How unlikely is that proposition?
