Wouldn't be hard to imagine two LP teams in this final.

I have not seen Barnes in a while but the main difference between Beardsley and Keegan is this; Beardsley plays a much better technical game and moves the ball well. Keegan has bigger and more athletic girls as a whole and relies more on an aggressive physical style of play. Perhaps we will get a chance to see who the real 2nd team is for LP. That being said, TX Spirit North and Fever Red will have something to say about that I assume.

How I see it unfolding:

Semis:

Bracket A: LP Barnes
Wild Card: LP Keegan

Winner: Barnes

Bracket B: Fever Red
Bracket C: Beardsley

Winner: Fever Red

Finals: Fever Red over Barnes


The fight for the wildcard will be TX Spirit North, LP Keegan, and TX Spirit on points. I think Keegan takes it due to an easier bracket... but hey... this tournament could have surprises.

Texas Spirit 04 (Bracket A) may be the sleeper. They played up with 03s in EAL Silver division last season and did very well. I've seen them play. Very nice looking team. Not 100% sure... but they may have beaten Beardsley in the EAL 03 league. Perhaps someone can confirm that.

Tx Spirit split with Beardsley during EAL fall

Incorrect.

TX Spirit 04 only played the Beardsly team once in EAL and won that game 2-1.

Easily confused with the TX Spirit North team possibly.

Brackets have changed... they could change again so I'm not going to type it all out again. Biggest difference is Keegan and Bearsdsley are now in same bracket (as of this post that is).

Most likely coaching conflicts... can't be in two places at the same time sort of thing. I am guessing they will have it sorted soon.

New schedule is out, but subject to change with the Friday weather forecast.

Don't know why the schedules keep going up and down. They don't seem to be honoring any of the conflict forms that my DD team has sent in. I don't know why they ask for conflict forms when they just go ahead and schedule for the times that have conflicts.

Predictions:
Wildcard won't come from bracket B, that is a tough draw for those 4 teams, should be some very close competitive games in there.

If Barnes can beat Texas Spirit, they should be able to win that bracket, but having not played on the big field in some time will hurt all those teams

Bracket C will be most likely decided by TX SPIRIT North vs Hurricanes, but Redknapp has improved a ton since the fall so it should be interesting to see how they fair.

Wildcard probably comes from Bracket A or C is my guess

Definitely agree Bracket B is a killer. Keegan and Beardsley played last weekend so I expect them to look the sharpest of all the teams on the big field with no walls to create give and gos. Ha!

I don't know where to start when it comes to having this age group playing an 8:45PM game.

I agree that bracket B is a tough one.

Late night games, teams having three games in a day, sounds like a bit of a mess.

Schedules up again

I know Liverpool has worked their tails off trying to fix conflicts but with such a huge tourney, the coaching conflicts are abundant. Has to be a nightmare to schedule especially after having to schedule some boys teams this weekend as well from the rain outs last weekend.

It wouldn't be so difficult if they actually used the conflict forms the teams filled out instead of trying to fix the problems after they did the schedule. Several teams supplied conflict forms and they were basically ignored.
