I think it would be very cool if several NTX teams traveled to Oklahoma to play in the Tulsa tourney. I have no idea how good their competition is, top to bottom, but it would surely be a fun time for our DD's to go on a road trip to play a little soccer.

Of course, some of us live far enough away from most NTX tourneys that it IS a road trip for us But, wow, Tulsa, my kid would think that was cool, she has no idea what "Tulsa" even is!

I think it would be very cool if several NTX teams traveled to Oklahoma to play in the Tulsa tourney. I have no idea how good their competition is, top to bottom, but it would surely be a fun time for our DD's to go on a road trip to play a little soccer.

I think you would enjoy coming to Tulsa. It is not a hard trip and I think you might be surprised by the facilities. Our TSCH girls (and families) had a blast in Dallas this past weekend and while not nearly as big, Tulsa does have plenty to offer between games. We also have several good local teams and when you add some OKC and KC teams to the mix it has the potential to be pretty strong. 04G Dallas teams are not unheard of up here. The Solar Kennington team participated in a tournament in Tulsa last Fall. We were happy they came even though they beat us in the finals.

Thank you OkSoccer guy. Us Solar parents took a lot of heat from the poster in October for 'traveling' to Tulsa for the tournament. Sounds like it's OK to do that now. Sorry we missed you this past weekend. We are hoping to come back up in April, our girls really enjoy it.

That's unfortunate someone gave you heat, silly really, as I have traveled to Phoenix, Kansas City and many other places for Hockey Tourney's when my Son was only 7 and most recently went to Disney for Soccer. So don't sweat it! If the girls enjoy it that is all that matters!

Oh yes, lots of heat!! Go back and look at the "money, money, money,money......Money" post. Around Oct. If you are going to travel just be prepared to be "bad" parents.
You know, though, the girls loved it, and mine can't wait to go back.

I found it... yeah they pilled on... go figure, they probably would have gone too if their DD said dad/mom can we go... It will be so fun! Shoot apparently my DD talked me into buying a puppy, she now has the contracted signed in Crayon, heck I bet it will be my Avatar before Mid March, so obviously if my DD asks to go to Tulsa we are going...

I found it too... jealousy can overtake come folks. Ignore them all.

Hopefully a bunch of 04 and 05 NTX teams can make the trip to Tulsa. Perhaps one tourney a bunch of NTX teams go to OK and then later in the year a bunch of OK teams come to Texas.

Heck, we could call the tourney "The Red River Shoot Out" which actually makes a lot of sense for a soccer tourney!

If anyone from the NTSSA has successfully traveled with an academy team I would love to know how you got approval. I tried to take my 02 boys team to PUMA in December and NTSSA wouldnt let us travel, refused to give us cards.

PARTICIPATION: Academy U09 & U10, Competitive U11-U19 will play a 3 game minimum with bracket advancement to finals.
