Dallas Texans 02g Moreno...

Well, as many of you have suspected, this team is officially gone as of today. I came in and worked very hard and did the best I could to keep this team together and build it into something even greater, but it looks like too much damage was done way before I got involved. I wish I had been brought in sooner - maybe we would be in a different situation.

The families who left all had their own reasons, and I have no hard feelings. This was a really neat group of girls, and I hope they all see success as they go their separate ways. If one of these girls is now on your team, I ask that you welcome them and take care of them. They are great kids, and deserve great coaching and great teammates.

While my dd left before you came aboard, I kept in touch with some that stayed. They told me many times that the reason they were holding out is because of your hard work and they said the girls loved and really clicked with you. They wanted to give you a chance to save the ship! Don't take it personally....it would of taken Admiral Lord Nelson to save the ship in the short time you had it! Good Luck in the future.

That's too bad, you would have done a great job, but best of luck with your 05's.

You sound like a coach that is sincerely looking out for the best interest of the kids. I'm really impressed by your professionalism with this post. Some coaches would get pissed off and be mad at the kids and families that left. Taking the time to wish these kids good luck says a lot about your character. Good luck to you and your teams in the future.
