Overreaction Monday - Week 1 - 04 Girls

OK, soccer fans. We'll start a new feature on the 04 forums this year! It's called Overreaction Monday... similar to how GAC and crew overreact to Cowboys games every Monday. I'll get us started.

SDL

Lots of chatter already on who the best SDL 04 team is. DT77dad seems to like the Deleon DT team's chances to run the table. Does everyone agree?

EAL

LP Keegan took care of business and are playing beautiful soccer these days. Lots of excellent games left to be played in EAL. Top to bottom, EAL seems to be the toughest 04 league this season. Do you agree?

Primetime

Fever Red and LP Barnes both pounded their opponents and face off in an early, super intriguing, game this coming Sunday. Are they playing for the PT championship in week 2? Or will Sting Searls - who beat Odyssey - make some noise? What do you think?

As to SDL: definitely watered down this Spring

As to EAL: definitely most competitive. Will be more games tied and lost by 1 than anywhere else.

As to PT: Agree... should be Fever, Barnes, and Odyssey although I think kicks will be in the mix as well. Will be several blowouts in this one too.

Best new feud - DT North Deleon vs Juventus. I hope they play each other soon.

Most Competitive league for 04's - Not SDL. There are two top ten teams playing in SDL and after that, it's not competitive at all. Only one other team in that league would even be ranked in the top 20.

DT North Rosales should easily beat DT North Deleon.

I'll pick Fever over Barnes in a close match.

It's Bad Enough Texas Spirit North-RED Didn't have a Game this Past Sunday, but then Our Sister Program's Game was RESCHEDULED as Well???...As Such, I Only have LUKEWARM Sports Opinions to Offer...I Feel like Poor Rudolph, who Couldn't Join in Any Reindeer Games

I'm Leaning Towards Team Rosales in SDL, but the Soccer Artist's Formerly Known as TBG Can Definitely Beat them...I Saw them Play Last Fall in SDL & Rosales Jumped on TBG 3-1 in the 1st Half...My Family & I Figured it was a WRAP & Left Right Then & there...But by the Time I Got Home & Read this Site, TBG TIED them 4-4 (or Something like that)...Needless to Say, DON'T Count TBG out Just Yet...

EAL is where it's @ this Season...Simply Compare their List of Teams to Any Other League Listings...Nuff Said...Not Sure Who will Win, but w/Dalglish-RASE Playing up & the Rowdies Playing Lord Knows Where(???), EAL is Wide Open...We Could All Predict Who will Win, but the Games will Ultimately Decide that For Us...

Does anyone know anything about the "Dallas Juventus Gold 04G Boyle" team playing SDL 04 this season? I know the Attack '05 3v3 team (LP Hyypia 05 girls) tied a Juve 04 team a few months ago... that Juve team had some really nice talent. Not sure if this is the same team though.

Just received confirmation from a source that asked to remain nameless that the DT Rosales team playing SDL 04 is in fact his second team. His first team will be playing up with 03s. But, the source also said that the team playing 04 is looking feisty and, obviously, has a great coach so not to count them out before they get their shot at DT Deleon.

Actually, I'm fairly certain that they scrimmaged each other? Perhaps a DT North parent can confirm. I think they were playing each other the same time my kid was playing her game at Blue Sky.
