OK, next poll, this Survey lets you force rank your top 16 Girls teams playing in the '04 brackets or '04s playing in the '03 brackets (note it does have 1 '05 team that is playing '04 so don't get all twisted over that please, if it bothers you don't vote for them), from this we should be able to pull together a Preseason top 20ish depending how the numbers come out... Yes I know it is subjective, an opinion yadda yadda... but none the less I will take all the votes I get until Noon 2/16/2012.

I sorted these by leagues and added the League they play in next to the team name.

Pick your top 16 at your leisure, ps, if you don't know top 16, then I think I set it to force you to pick your top 7 at least

OK, I 1st sorted these by # of votes, next I sorted all of the teams that got 10 or more votes by the Rating Average. I didn't show any team in this picture with less than 10 votes as it simply was TOO big of a picture. I will post another link of the same picture SHRUNK, but it will be hard to read at best!

Allegiances aside, whoever voted for DTS 04 as the best 04 team has been smokin something weird! Sorry!

Yeah, it's a good poll to find out who knows how to work a proxy server or who has the most active posters on a soccer forum but not really much of a strength indicator. Hopefully we'll still be going from the actual results oriented rankings in the future, not which voting system DT parents can skew with their multiple identity habits.

I agree DT South is not number one, but anyone with half a brain would see that if someone was using proxies to game the system there would be a heck of a lot more votes counted AND/OR the totals for any one team would be disproportionality higher.

Anyhow, Survey Monkey does a good job of limiting proxies with scripts and if you use proxies that disable scripts you cannot take the survey.

Leave it to Wolf to create conspiracy and fault in a simple thing like a poll.

It's not a conspiracy. It's a basic fact. How much weighting can you give to a poll when you have a higher proportion of homers who have a history of multiple accounts (I wasn't referring to you but some of your Northern brothers - in most 'human' polls I think DT South is actually under-ranked) and parents with little sense of relativity as they don't regularly play top 10 teams. Count how many teams on there have voters who believe their team is #6 or #7 in North Texas and tell me how realistic that scenario is! I bet if you took a "post your favorite team" or "who does your daughter play for?" poll, the results would be similar.

(And for the record, Google how to bypass Survey Monkey with a simple script that takes about ten seconds to install.)

Well, I don't see a pattern of proxie usage nonetheless. Also with a few exceptions I think this list looks good. Personaly, I have DT South around #8 but the top 4 are spot on in my opinion.

Thanks for the script tip... didn't know, but then again, I never had the reason to look for a work-around either.
