Try Outs for Mexican American U16 players

We will be hosting soccer tryouts for the Texas United U16 Women’s team in Dallas to take a team to the Mex Games competition on April 2-8 in Long Beach, California.

This is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be evaluated by Mexican National scouts. It is a week-long competition that will provide each player who is worthy to train with the Mexican National Team the opportunity to go to Mexico for a formal National Team Tryout.

We are looking for talented female soccer players born in the years 1996, 1997, and 1998 to qualify for the tryouts.

Requirements that players must bring to the tryouts.


A

• ) Copy of Mexican Birth Certificate. If player does not have a Mexican Birth Certificate, they can present a copy of one of their parent’s or grandparent’s Mexican Birth Certificate.
  
  B) If player is an American citizen, they must present a copy of their Birth Certificate AND a parent’s or grandparent’s Mexican Birth Certificate or Certificate of Naturalization to prove their Mexican heritage.
  
  C) Three recent passport size photographs for each participant.
  
  D) Liability Waiver signed by player, coach, and assistant (see attached)
  
  E) If the player is under 18 years of age they must present a Release Form signed by a parent or guardian to be able to participate in the Mex Games.
  
  F) Copy of an ID with a photograph and player name. (School ID etc.)

ALL players
*PLEASE check-in when you arrive and bring all paperwork, forms and requirements.
*PLEASE remember to wear black shorts, white socks, cleats, shin guards and a plain white t-shirt. (We may write a number on the back of the white t-shirt)
* PLEASE bring a size 5 soccer ball
* PLEASE bring water.

We will have a roster that be made up of 16 players plus 2 alternate players in case something happens to any of the 16 players.
