Girl Trys out for LSU Football Team

Mo Isom, the senior/retiring LSU keeper is trying out for the LSU football team. She will have one year of eligibility on the pointy ball team. This may be a publicity stunt long in the works. A year or so ago, she went up against one of the star LSU players taking and giving direct shots. She won. The video may still be on the LSU soccer web site. Go Mo

LSU Soccer fans should tune in to Saturday's episode of the "Fox & Friends" morning show on the Fox News Channel as former Tiger goalkeeper Mo Isom talks football tryouts in her first live nationally-televised interview at 7:50 a.m. CT. Set your DVRs if you're not able to watch it live!!

Based on how they played in the national championship game, they could use her help.

Interestingly, she will be trying to unseat the Sophomore incumbent from Dallas who grew up playing soccer for Solar........

In the link to a news story I just posted she brags that she is 6'1" and 190 pounds. Comparable in size to the Honey Badger!

Went to the recent LSU/Nichols game and Mo sat right behind us. She's still very friendly even though she's a local star now. The new LSU soccer stadium is nice but they have the players/bench on the same side of the field as the fans. A couple of LSU boys were googling the Nichols girls and would call out their names and say obnoxious things to them. While nice to see everyone up close, I think for the teams, much better if they were not so close to the stands and drunken frat boys.

That's why MLS is beginning to smart up and not market as hard to soccer moms. When fans pay money they are given some license to yell as long as its not racist or hard cussing.
I doubt Sigi Scmidt's mom would've appreciated the way I would scream out "Get in my belly!"
Or "Look! He runs like a girl!" "Go! Beckerwoman!" Making fun of Kyle Beckerman aka Becky or Beckerwoman.

I was at the '94 world cup games in Dallas. During the Saudi Arabia game I kept ululating very loudly. I was sitting in the Saudi section. When I looked around everyone was scowling at me. Sooo funny at the time but I shut up so I didn't have to fight several hundred people.
See, I dont hide behind the monitor and act stupid. I do it in public too.

My DD and her friend's first up close of drunken frat boys in their native environmment. They thought it was kind of funny at first until a couple of the boys noticed them. Hugs all around, uncluding me Long time since I've been involved with frat boys and their escapades, except for the one I married. At least no one was eating a mum off my chest and then barfing on me and/or my friends. Ah, college days.
