Yeah rite! Youcan'thandlethetruth aint trying to break up the 01 team, just the 02 team.

This statement is not true. I will tell you who doesn't like SB. About half the college coaches on the sidelines. They laugh and giggle about his tactics with players. And freely talk about how he is a disaster to players.2ddgotskillz wrote:rumor has it ppl like saun bubb alot more and ppl prolly are glad he's leaving.

My daughter is on an 00 team, but is friends with some 02 Texans. The club knows he is leaving but is stringing the team along until contracts are signed. It's not fair to the parents and girls. Do the Texans have any coaches for the girls' teams? Who do you think will benefit? Sting or Solar? Will this turn into the Glotz/Higgy debacle from last fall? Looks like the Glotz girls that left were the smart ones!
Nice first post for an 00 parent who just happened to be VERY concerned with the 02 team which he knows nobody on it, except the dd is friends with some.
BTW, Texans announced a month ago that RH will be leaving the Club. It is not a secret. If you are a true Texans 00 parent you should have known that by now.
Pele, stop drinking the Texan Kool-aid. At first, the club told everyone Higg wasn't leaving. Surprise, now he is. The Texan girls have been slipping the last few years with their lack of regard for parents and girls, i.e. Closed practices.
They have a heavy focus on boys and lack of experienced girl coaches. just look at the 00 girls and their coach, LM, who has never coached a girl's team before.
I think the parents should find another team/coach before it's too late. From the 99's down, Solar and Sting are the place to be.
In my opinion, the Texans do not have stable coaches with true experience coaching girl's soccer.
Go read your original post then come back and read the bold, highlighted portion.
So, obviously this wasn't really about RH leaving the Texans or not.....
My older dd joined the Texans in Academy when Kenny Medina was a Texans DOC, and that was before RH became DOC. We heard then more or less the same $hit you are just throwing around now, and how if KM leaves Texans will crumble and such. KM left, RH took over and the sun still rose from East and dawned on West.
Point is, if a parent has to come here in the forum and expect to get the facts about their Club from a jerk like you who doesn't even belong to the Club, then that parent is in a wrong place to start with.
Call it the Red Kool-aid or not, but in my opinion it is all about knowing where you are, what are the facts and what are the options out there.[/quote]
Pele, step away from your computer. Your emotions are getting the best of you. You highlighted some of my statements. Are they not true? Have the Texans not held closed practices where parents could not stay and watch their girls train? Is LM not the 00's coach? Does he have experience coaching girls? Just look at his bio on the Texan's website.
Here are some facts:
98 Group: The best player on the Texan's ECNL team is a 99 girl.
99's: Solar Red Colvin in 1st, Solar Chelsea 2nd, other Solar Chelsea 3rd. Dallas Texans 4th with Sting Royal right behind.
00's: Solar Red in 1st place, Solar Chelsea tied for 3rd with Texans. Sting has 3 teams in LH DI. Texans have not won anything of significance in this age group since going select.
01's: Sting Flannigan in 1st, Solar Red 4 points down with 1 less match played. Texans in 6th place, 12 points out of 1st with Solar Chelsea right behind.
03's Texans North (the usual Rowdies) don't even have a team.
Who is going to coach Higg's team?
The 02's have options with MC (Solar Red) and QR (Sting). Two great GIRLS' coaches.
Where am I wrong? These are the facts. You are right. The facts are there and parents' options are out there, too!

Re: '02 Dallas Texans New Coach
People often forget this team (not ness. coach, although we do like him) has a bond and dedication to stay together. There have been multiple rumors on the board over the years about players leaving and it has never panned out. .New People have joined the team, but I dont recall anyone leaving the team of their own free will-Anyone who has ever made this team -has stayed, unless the Coach told them they HAD to leave or would not play. I'm going back 2-2.5 years. So say what you want, (coach can go or stay)-this team will be ok (at Texans or whereever) (with RH or whithout)- They are a solid group. We have watched other teams change drastically. Texans have remained with 5-8 original Rowdies that were there in at 6 or 7 years old. I dont see this team changing much, but if the talk is that intriguing -keep it up.

That bond with that team will crumble under the Texans. They have a certain way of dividing and causing un-stable conditions for parents and players. It is much easier to get rid of problems when the team is unstable. (problems are considered as any parents asking anything about the team or players on the team). The Texans find it a problem when the team has a group of parents that are united. They will let you think for the next 6 to 9 months that you all are all going to stay together and be happy. Trust me that is not going to be the case. Your little Suzy the soccer player will be looking for a new team.happygilmore wrote:I do believe this is yet another thread to cause doubt in the minds of the 02 Texan parents.BUT........................

The Best thing to do is get together as parents and find a nice stable club. And just be happy with it all. Trust me the Texans need your team more than you all need the Texans!
