Do you Email your DD Coach?
Do you Email your DD Coach?
I was talking to a parent at practice the other night and she mentioned how she emails the coach a lot with questions and had a phone call with the coach after the last game to discuss the game and her DD. Does anyone else do this that often?
For those coaches out there, does it bug you? Do you get emails from parents all week with questions, or only a few select parents?
Just curious if I should start bugging the coach or getting to know him better.

I have taken the hands off approach and do not talk to the coach other than to say "Hi" in passing at games and practices, and do not email or call him. As long as my DD is happy, playing enough and having fun, all is good.

My dd's coach is very accessible like that...thank goodness. I do email sometimes with concerns or "thoughts". (I tend to be opinionated ). I am sure he rolls his eyes when he sees an email pop up from me. He is always courteous though. My DD last coach was very hands off...everything went through the manager. But...he had many teams so I guess I can understand why he would have to do it that way.

No. I haven't been able to scan him in where he is readable.

Email is OK, but you really should deliver the Mavs tickets or keys to the lake house in person. Of course, when you take him to the club, make sure you ride in the same cart so he can't get away from you.
