Any truth????????????

Word traveling thru STING camp is that 5 of Higgy's top girls are heading to STING. Out of the 5,-4 are starter studs-play whole game, they were with DM from begining. I cant see this happening unless these 5 want to break free for some reason. I saw them play last season in Primetime-all play majority of game and have good chemistry not just with each other but with whole team. Why spoil a good thing. If anyone else has heard please confirm-had three parents tell me this, so far. 2 Sting and one Feet . I'm thinking rumor but not sure.

You never know. Now that the season is over we are likely to see all sort of crazy shifting around. It has been foretold by the older groups...hang on to your hats!

Heard it but dont see it happening .WHY post it? is it to upset the the other 11/12 girls?
Q is a recruiter but they are doing well in boys' league.I think no story there.

Just curious, that's all. I think the team's good. I like the fact that basic group has been together for so long I think that attributes to their success. But if basic group leaves together -would they still be a success?Are those 5 girls that good?.Just wonder how "tight" WHOLE team really is, if talk is only about a few leaving. Just something to watch and speculate about.

I heard this RUMOR from a parent on the team, just didn't want to be the first to start the RUMOR; I just like to add fuel to the fire. The biggest reason I heard for the possible defection was that the parents are unsure of Higgy and his attention to the team come fall. With that and not many "Quality" coach's left to take over the reign for DT it is a very plausible scenario.

There's "speculation" and then there's making things up just to get a rise out of people. It's most likely that the answer to the question in the title of this string is "NO".

Be careful about rumors. Being around this crap for so many years, I've heard many. I'd guess about 10% of them are actually true.

The best one I heard years ago was that 4 players from my DD's team were seen (eye-witness account) practicing with another club. Well of course this would pique my curiosity. I tried and tried to find out who was leaving, but nobody would admit to it. Obviously there were some parents hiding something. Things started to get heated at our practices amongst the parents. Why couldn't they just be honest?

Finally the names came out from the eye witness, and my DD was one of the names. WTF?!

I'll just put it this way, I didn't know, and am still not too certain, where this club practices. Turns out not one of our kids were ever there.

Playing for a big five, but practicing and leaving for one of the other big five was the rumor.
Not really important who the teams were. I just remember the shock of hearing my DD's name being one of them.

Maybe it's just the caffeine, or the mood I'm in, I have no idea.

I read through another string earlier today (might have been on the boys' board) where angry parents were blasting each other for grammar and spelling. Each response included another typo so it just wouldn't end. They weren't even on topic. I sat back afterwards and thought, "That was probably the dumbest exchange I've ever read on this board." So maybe the timing was right for me to see that avatar. I don't want to serve as the spell-check police because I know I’ll end up looking like a chump.

Nah... I only have 1 account. I'm focused hard on trying to get my score up on this one. 2 accounts would just complicate my life and I'd end up using the wrong one to post something foolish.

He has more login names than that. Uses his iPhone to keep disguise IP address but he messed up here and there. He travels on business. Several names on this one thread are him not just one. His M.O. is easy to spot.

The biggest question I have is who is going to be the "Assistant" Coach for when Higgy is away at the TCU games?

While we're dealing with the B S. Wouldn't be surprised if Higgy's team blows up. If these 5 are thinking about leaving and questioning his committment towards the team since he's doing the TCU thing and this unorthodox way of playing against boys.. The word is he went out of his way to apologize to all coaches for being and a*&hole all this time. Guess you gotta keep them on your good side when it comes to recruiting ha?
