'04 FBR Rankings - 5/31/12

Just a thought, I'v seen in the 02's fbr rankings that an 02 team is not ranked with the 02's cause they play boys and they are a top team. I just think if 04 teams choose to play up with 03's then they should just be ranked with the 03's until they decide to come back and play in there own age group, just cause you really can't get proper rankings. Just a thought.....I think your doing a great job with the fbr rankings.

If there are enough games to rank them, then I will rank them. Problem with the team you are referring to in the '02's is that they have played ZERO games against '02 girls teams since January. As soon as they show up in an '02 girls tournament playing other '02 girls teams, they will get ranked. Also, they are the only team out of 70 or so that isn't playing other girls teams in their age bracket on a regular basis.

Normally, I wait until a team has at least 3 games against other teams in the database before I rank them. I've made a bit of an exception for the '04's. If I stuck to my 3 games rule, I would be excluding at least 2 or 3 of the top teams. In my opinion, that leads to a more bogus set of rankings than if I include all of those teams, especially because even with the small # of games, the relative ranking of those teams has come out pretty close to where the should be.

What 3 games do you have for DTN? Is it only the SDL games? If so we played in the Plano Spring Kicks Classic tourney in April against other '04 teams. If you need scores please let me know.

I had those games attributed to the DT North United Rosales team, not the DT North Manchester Rosales team. Should those games go to the DT North Manchester team?

Yes, That was DTN Manchester.
