They didn't have a tough bracket but they did what they should have against the competition.

Thanks for the Kudos, but why would you say we had an easy bracket? Look at the results: the 'C' Bracket swept the 'B' bracket in cross over play. Andro beat a team that beat the winner of the B bracket that is advancing to the semi's with 1 win. The other 2 teams in the 'C' bracket have the same record as the 'B' winner.

This tourney hasn't been seeded properly from the beginning, but that's a part of the game. Good luck to all the girls!

How so?

Based on previous history and competition factors, tourney should have been seeded the following:

Bracket 1: DT (1), Wtx (10), LP Dalglish (5), Fc Lubbock (6)
Bracket 2: Sting (2), Wtx (9), Crush (7)
Bracket 3: Celtic (3), Andro 8, LP Hansen (4)

Where the error was made was that Sting was inadvertently placed in Silver with 03 teams and Wtx 03 (was 10 seed) was in bracket 1. Instead of re-seeding properly, the TD just swapped Sting for the 03 wtx team.

TDs don't always get it right but this ones hard to miss.

The TD really did the right thing as previously posted for the semis.

I thought there was a rule if two teams from the same bracket made it to the semi's then they would not play against each other since you had already played in bracket play. I would like to See Texans v Andro and LP v Sting.

Had the Horner to watch a great game. Higg to me has no speed up top. I give credit to Sting Parker, they have some speedy girls. But a win is a win no matter how the teams played out. Looking forward to watching the final.

Fastest team speed I've seen. Period.

Got to agree with pro16 - DT girls were big, fast and very organized - not to mention very aggressive. They were the better team, but Sting Parker gave them all they could handle.

DT had to bring speed from the back line.to get the speed the had..Stings left back made great plays all day. DT has some work to do , just as the rest of the 02 team's.

I tend to think Andro will show well. Long day for everyone.

Yes. DT scored 1 beautiful goal from outside midway through the first half, and then got a PK midway through the second half. Great game.

Funny lost in texas I think higg's original front line is very fast on their own. The two teams DTX played today had two of the top goalies in 02, so speed or no speed the goalies made great saves, speed was not the issue it was just great saves from a keeper.. Were goals scored when changes were made. I recall one shot barely rolling over line and one from way back-none from speed. But good try. Great back and forth game but mostly dominated by DTX passing with Sting goalie playing great game, and Sting's defense playing very well also.

YES sireee. Higgy has one of the fastest front lines in league. 2 outside girls have blazing speed, starters and one who subs in are all sppedy. Other positions fast too , but strikers do have some incredible speed. Sounds like keeper made some good saves.
