Local player earns tryout with Liverpool FC Academy

The current GK for Liverpool FC America 98 Babbell team coached by Wilco Ravestijn has earned an invitation to the LFC Academy in England for a two week trial. Scouted at the recent camp held in North Texas by the International Academy, the local club was contacted by Liverpool FC academy and received the great news.

"All of us at Liverpool are very proud of Ben and this outstanding opportunity for this great young man" said Chris Pulpaneck, Director of Coaching for LFCA. "We do not know where this might lead, or if it will even lead anywhere besides a great trip to Liverpool for Ben and his family, but the possibility is certainly exciting and that one of our own has this chance is incredible" Pulpaneck went on to say.
