The games will be played. LHGCL has been holding this tourney at the same time for years, regardless of the temperate conditions. They make water break concessions. Bring your Frogg Togg! affraid

I could be thinking of a different tourney, but it seems LH actually moved some games around last year, earlier and later to miss some of the heat. Gophers?

They did reschedule afternoon games last year due to excessive heat. Here is the 17 page thread in which the 01s complained about the weather last year. sunny

Our last game last year the high was 107 and the game was at 1:00. The game was not rescheduled. And it was HOT! I doubt they will reschedule anything. Many games will come down to conditioning and fitness of the girls for sure!

I had forgotten about that although that was an unusual anomaly. Normally, they play on despite annual parental protests for their precious DD’s.

You are correct, they did reschedule due to the heat last year, but it was for the 2nd weekend where only 2 age groups were playing so there were fewer games on the schedule.

Doubt they could do this the first weekend. Too many games to be played.

I remember playing in a QT game in 108 degrees 6 years ago. Let's just say the speed of the game was definitely impacted (as well as the mood of the parents!)
