Update for the night...

Harrison is stable as they slowly begin the rewarming process on him. This is a continued answer to our prayers but we have the night remaining to get to full body temp ( he was down to 91.2) and tomorrow will be a telling day for us. I can't remember if I already said this but the neurologist said his brain wave looks like that of a person on sedatives and he thus far had no seizure activity.

I now have my toddler nephew to take care of (big boys are in Abilene with church friends) so if you see me with a little blond kid at the fields smile and say hi cause he will wave and say hi back. He is a love.

Thank you all and please keep praying knowing that your prayers are working.

Has anyone heard or seen anything on those two girls from Iowa. They were 9 and 10 and out riding bikes, bikes found but girls not and it has been well over a month. Couldn't imagine a child disappearing and a pair - that is more disturbing. It would be tough for one abducter to get 2 girls at once - or wouldnt you think? Anyway, after we save this little guy I think we should think about those two girls.

I just spoke to my sister. He is fully back to temperature and they are weaning him off of the vent. He is getting 10 breaths from the vent and taking all others on his own. I am not sure when they will take him off. The neurologist was very optimistic and said something to the effect of "I can't tell what his grades will be in 1st grade but I think he will be ok." They will do an MRI in a few days. Thank you all for your continued prayers and we give his healing to this point to God via the use of modern medicine. It is to His glory. Please continue to pray for his healing.

He is off the vent and all medications! He was a bit agitated at first (who wouldn't be) but now he is just trying to rest. God is good to us and we thank you all so much for your prayers and your support.

Great news. Prayers to your family. Lets also say prayers for all those people in the hospital that work their miracles with our LORD's help everyday. Lets not forget about them. AMEN

OUTSTANDING NEWS!!!!

Hello All,

This is hopefully my last update. He is in a regular room as of last night and my sister says he is doing great. He is moving around bilaterally and doing things appropriate for his age. He can't get up to crawl as he still has IV access in his leg and it gets in his way, but he is trying to do it which points to his neuro function. It seems he will be totally fine and we are so grateful. We know he is a miracle and we give the Glory to God and acknowledge the power of all your (and many other) prayers.

Forever grateful. Thank you.
