Ask textiger and some of the others. Intrinsic must have been in another division. IMO, part of the reason that Arlington is seeing some new faces this year.

This on the individual teams and their managers. Tiffany is waiting to get both team reports before posting the final scores *Remember what happened during the Plano Labor Day Tourney to the 04's (wrong score got posted, team that earned slot in brackets never showed up....) 01 scoress have been posted in a "drip drip" fashion which tells me that she's posting the scores when she has both reports. It could be worse, she could be waiting until all the games are reported then updating the site...
If both teams don't turn them in quickly then the scores don't get posted quickly. I recommend a text right at the end of the game, then scanning the game report and sending from home. If the Manager doesn't have a scanner, then have the manager expense against the team ! (LOL)

This is not a tournament where a mistake has potential for a problem. This is an ongoing league. If Lake Highlands can figure it out 100% then Plano can too. We do not need both teams and ref to submit before initial posting of a score. It is not a requirement in other Plano age groups. This is a director only requirement. We dealt with this all last year. Understanding this is a volunteer without a DD in our league but better response is expected. Some change needs to be made! For those interested, you cannot volunteer to be a Plano director in an age group where you have a DD.

Have the score come right from referee’s card, with a signature from the managers and coaches from each team, and then submit said card to the director for data entry. Too easy, what am I missing?

Re: Plano D1 Teams
If you have a DD on a PYSA team, then you should know her team's score (unless you have a restraining order and are not allowed to contact her or be near her, in which case you have bigger problems than hanging out here). If you have a friend's team you are keeping track of, a quick 10 second text would give you that enlightenment which you seek.
If you dont have a DD or a friend, then what is it to you what a game's score was? IMHO, it's too early in the season to crown a champion. In fact, I can tell you with confidence that it will be very crowded at the top of the standings, and also at the bottom.

Re: Plano D1 Teams
I'll start (not that I haven't already).
A snail goes to a used car lot to buy a car. The sales person asks, "What are you looking for in a car?"
The snail says, "I want a really fast car with big side doors so I can write a huge "S" on each door."
The salesman says, "That's a weird request, why?"
The snail says, "Because when I drive through town I want people to say, "Look at that S-Car-Go!"
Why did the snail cross the road?
I don't know - but I'll let you know when it gets here!
Boom Swish!
What do you do when two snails have a fight?
Leave them to slug it out!
OK, I am officially exhausted.

Sorry, I'm not usually a party pooper.
A man arrives at a halloween costume party in street clothes and a woman is hanging on to his back. The host says "and what are you dressed as?" He says "a snail!" The host says "and who is that woman on your back?" "Oh, that's Michelle."
As you were, carry on.....

Score keeping
Last season in D2, we had to wait for up to 2 weeks to get the score updated. It was very frustrating.

Re: Plano D1 Teams
I may have to start a save the snail mail rally. I did a rally once against the rampant use of naugahyde - I mean really, do you know how many baby naugahydes had to give their lives so your grandad could have a barkalounger?
I mean, I know that having scores delivered on a timely basis is a good thing, but if it means putting millions of snails out on the streets.... Crunch, crunch, crunch. Ah, darn it all, I just took out a dozen of them pacing around trying to write this plea.
Pardon me while I go wash off my shoes and destroy the evidence.
