One is a slimy pest who leaves a trail everwhere they go and the other is a snail.

The snails called, they are signaling a willingness to renegotiate their contracts, I think they are ready to get back to work despite the hazardous working conditions.
Do the carrier pigeons have a counteroffer?

Sounds like the new rep was an understudy to Conan the Barbarian. Those terms sound firm, we had better call snails.

That's true, I know some of the pigeons.
After the paint drys, and the cows come home, and the fat lady sings, maybe, the scores will be posted. Then again, the scores not being posted has been the source of entertainment and folly.
We'll see if the snails can compete with pigeon's stance...

But if they have DDs playing there, it should be the least they could do. I haven't seen any of them volunteer as field marshall or help with fund raisers. Matter of fact, the last cookie sale event they helped with was terrible. (Evidently husbands and cookies are pigeon pecked!)

Re: Plano D1 Teams
Since Tiffany has been posting one or two scores at a time, we can assume that she is posting scores for games for which BOTH teams submitted scores.
Therefore, unless someone tells me otherwise, I will assume that the LOSING TEAMS are using the slowest snails they could find. Immature.
Let's see if there is a pattern. For week-old scores, the outstanding scores are:
US Elite v Fever
Cosmos v Rockets
Genesis v Thunder
FC Frisco v AYSES Gold
Whoever lost those games are likely the delay. Someone said Thunder and Fever won, so Genesis and US Elite dragging their feet. Busted!

I don't recall either of those teams in D1 Plano last year perhaps they need a lesson on snail racing.santos.l.halper wrote:Seriously, the delay is ridiculous. Some scores are still not up a week after the game!

Re: Plano D1 Teams
1. Get rid of the paper form. It is my understanding that the form must be filled out, scanned, and then emailed. The form and scanning seem like unnecessary steps to me. Since the end result is an email, why can't a KNOWN TEAM, with KNOWN MANAGER, email from a KNOWN EMAIL address
2. PPL wants to post accurate scores, so they require both managers to send in scores. Accuracy is great, but timely information is also needed. Set a deadline. 24 hrs or 48hrs. If after that deadline PPL only has one email, post it. If you can't be timely, you lose the privilege of participating in the process.

Mom, Genesis was a bye team. They only lost 3 games last year in Div 1. Maybe they didnt know that you have to submit scores even if you L.
US Elite played in PT. Not sure if they are a new team or a rebrand of an old team.
Santos, good logic. If the scores are delayed, and the AGC is posting most games, it's prolly the losing team that is slow rolling the score. Acting all grown up and stuff.

Re: Plano D1 Teams
I am told in our case that the losing team not only dragged their feet but submitted the wrong score further delaying the process. I know it's early in the season and standings matter very little but it gives us bored parents somethn to do and talk about! Lol
Seriously. Here's the solution: fill out one form in pencil and change game/opponent info as needed. (make sure it's the correct score). Take cellphone photo and the 2 mgrs can email from phone right there at the field! That puts the onus on commish Tiff.

Skillz....I was actually referring to US Elite and Thunder, sorry. I am not familiar with those two teams. I know Genesis was in Plano last year, I remember the nail biting league game against them last year! lol
