West Nile and Moss Park? Empty West Nile and Moss Park?

Should anyone be worried about Mosquitos at Moss Park? Has the aerial spraying worked? What about that huge creek running behind the park that looks like a mosquito hotspot? Any thoughts?

Haven't noticed the usual swarms of gnats and mosquitos since the spraying. We still spray ourselves down with Deep Woods Off every time we go there, but it seems alot better. Even at dusk its not too bad.

As opposed to Railroad with ponds and landfills all around?

be safe and just fill a lawn sprayer with deet and Malathion ppump it up and just spray in the air near you.. this willl acomplish two things.
1. will keep the pesky critters away.
2. grab a prime seating place with shade (I know rare at Moss) and no one will try and steal or crowd you for it...

I heard the Moss Park locals fight off West Nile by elevating their BAC to the point where any virus entering their blood system is killed on contact...

Plus, there is that nice liquor store within walking distance of the fields. Too bad copperheads don't eat mosquitoes or Moss would have natural West Nile control.

that is not a liquor store,,, it is a mosquito replent resupply store (or maybe a OMFG I HAD A BAD REF need a drink store)

Well the origin of Gin and Tonic was to help ward off malaria. Can we convince the West Nile mosquitoes that it works on them as well? (Of course today's tonic contains a lower amount of quinine so we might have to have more to have any impact - on the mosquitoes that is).
