I agree 100%. Never said was better or worse off. Just meant its a different team. Neither team reflects the other, your right. Apologies if I made it sound different. Only one player changed teams. We cheer for both teams as we have close ties to both teams. He still has 8 girls from that tourney. But he did lose 4 from that team.

Just out of curiosity, why would there be a surprise as to why DT Scott and Solar K be are on this list? Not saying that DTN snould not be up there with ALL the ones listed, but no reason to call out others who, as well, deserve in the top 10, unless you still have a grudge going on

No one was calling out those 2 teams. Both deserve to be on the list. What shock me is how some just shove DTN off to the side. They have been a top 3 team for a very long time and suddenly they don't exist because they like Solar and DT Scott choice not to play TGPL but some few can over look it for those 2 teams (not the teams fault just the few posters on here) but can't get past it for DTN. We choice as a team and the rest of coach Rosales teams to play SDL some could have our coach at ALL our games. Some think his other teams should just forfeit their coach for their games so DTN '04 can play TGPL.

I would think Rosales would be a top team at least until somebody in SDL proves otherwise. Will be interesting to see who the top texans team is by the end of this and the next season (not including DTS). Scott is a personal favorite but I wouldn't put money against Rosales

Well I hope you like the smell because it wasn't just my dd he did that too also. We know of others (play for different teams/clubs) he has called several times even after stated not interested or were happy were they are happy with their teams. LW is a recruiting coach no matter how you swing it. He is looking for the current best players on any team. Is anything wrong with that "no" I just don't buy his sales pitch. I have talked to current and past players and he tells you one thing and does another. Some of your current team mates aren't happy because they were told something different then he is doing.

I don't care DTN isn't #1 or #3 but I know for sure they are top 5 at this time. None of these teams will look the way they do now come July 1, 2014. Most likely several of them will be gone completely along with many players moving on to other sports.

At this point MB I am done going around and around with you. When you can come back with a better argument other then "you lost 5 players". Then I will hold a discussion with you.

This stuff is par for the course for this jen_nah character. Always on here with such spite. Such a huge chip!
For the record, the 4-5 players that left DTN and went to LW were NOT recruited by him. They sought LW out and were given an opportunity to play for him. You may want to ask your coach the truth as to why they left and what they told him (that he had taken them as far as he could). FACT.

What is there like a soccer player phone book or something? How do these coaches get players numbers to call them? Anyway, if you are looking for the coach to do something for you then sounds like the problem is yours as a parent. You see how a team plays and check out the practices if you like it then you join doesn't matter what a coach says. For that bill of goods to be bought from a coach, you have to be willing to be sold. But then again you are not exactly credible. Besides if LW only recruits the best players why would he be bothering you?

Oh just an thought, maybe peoples low opinion of your team comes from you and the constant attempt to smear other teams and their coach. Look at his killer boys team, Rosales doesn't need your help or to bring LW down to prove himself. Give it a rest

great kids, great parents, recruited, came on their own, doesn't really matter why they left. They work hard, fit in great, and my dd gets along with them great and is happy they are there. So if he recruited them great job LW. If they came on their own, next time don't wait on destiny LW grab the bull by the horns.

Not sure what Solar team you are referring to, but if you mean Kennington, you're incorrect. No one has left SK to go to DTN,. At least the past 14 months or so.

Right about DT Scott. They are the deal deal within the Texans org. Watched them last 2 weekends and they are strong.

Why you have to go an attack my kid? You don't know her but many on your team can credit saying she is a good skilled player that brings value to a team.

I have nothing against LW just not where I want my dd playing. I have my own reasons. I don't dog your team. They are a great team that I can't deny. Will RASE by another SRSA '03 most likely. Does LW recruit yes he does. Is there anything wrong with it? NO! Many coaches do it (Grubb, Higg, etc...) nothing wrong with it. Did some of DTN player(s) go on their own "yes" but some where recruited after the fact.

Lol I actually have no idea who your dd is but couldn't resist the joke. You have been nothing if not consistant in your attack on LW and RASE.

Just to clarify and fix the "controversy of the weekend" let me be clear. I left DTN off by MISTAKE. Simple oversight. I have not seen any of their games this year nor am I familiar with any matchups of theirs so far this year against other top teams. Suffice to say, they have been fairly quiet. Still, they have been a top team and deserve to stay there until removed by other teams. I will fix this list this afternoon.

Of course, my list is simply my opinion and nothing definitive anyhow.

Looks like I got more info than I bargained for. The Sting shuffle was cleared up for their previous top 10 team status. Learned over the weekend that 2 of the DT Scott players (original Rowdies girls) moved over to DTN Rosales. This movement will continue to happen over the next year. Good Luck to All. Just keep away from bashing of individual 8/9 year old girls.

SDL still has some good teams playing in the brackets but its not as bad as UAL. We don't hear as much about those teams. Lots of kicking the ball from what I saw.

As opposed to picking it up and running with it? Not sure what else you do with the ball in soccer (keepers excluded).

How about dribbling and passing?

I have watched a few SDL games this season, and TGPL every week. The competition in TGPL is much more stiff. My daughter is adjusting big time from playing one league to the next. I can see how someone who watches that league would rank teams from there, the difference appears to be substantial overall.

I've watched both as well, and at top end, the quality is exceptional in both leagues, and interchangable..
