This might be a record for the earliest in-season change of clubs.

I'm pretty sure this group holds all the records for switching clubs!

-Sting
-Liverpool
-FC Dallas
-Who's the fourth?
Personally, I think it's a smart move for that last spot.

All with the same coaches. Sounds like a dedicated group/families to me.

At some point the machine / club will take over but what you've managed to do in my book is a good thing for NTX soccer. Of course it doesn't hurt that the team is solid on the field as well and could use that as leverage as needed.

What a deficient view on player development. It may seem like a 'machine' but how do you know your coach is actually teaching your DD skills the right way? I want my DD to experience many coaching styles and views. That doesn't mean jumping teams every year. why should us parents look at a team as "our" team....surely it's the coach and group of players your daughter wants to play for?! You pay a club for it's professionals, and correct me if I'm wrong but your sign for the club not the coach in most cases.....
Sounds to me this one paragraph breathes everything that's wrong with "Dallas soccer culture"

I don't thinking moving constantly is the way to go, but I'll correct you; Its all about the best coach for your DD development. Division and club are secondary.

soccer4fun wrote:its hard to remain unbiased as my kids have had great coaches with a great club and we have not made any move; in this case if you asked the parents "hey everyone up for a move" I would suspect the answer would be no. In this case with 4 moves in three years I say selfish, the coach is all about whats right for him, not the kids; How in the world is moving clubs this often good for the players ? It is not and unless you are BW or the club doc you do not know the why, but to me it seems like a coach that is all about "me". Either way history says set your clock as in another 12 to 14 months we will be right back here as this group heads to club number 5.
Doesn't it still take 75% of a team to move with its bye? There was obviously some cohesion among the team parents behind this coach. If the team wanted ecnl status, why would they not go for it? Is it better to try and fail or be be scared and stay #2?
