My DD doesn't play for this team, but I know we all kidded about their name last year - The Shortcakes - now called Gunners. Despite their name last year, they played well and are certainly doing very well this year - so far. I just felt the urge to give them a shout out. Going from anonimity to fourth place (so far) in PPL Division I is a great achievement. I think we will see them going into LH QT with guns blazing this coming year.

You are correct. We played them over Labor Day and it was a hard fought victory that we were happy to get. They played very good defense that game.

We played them earlier this season. Good team although the coach needs to work on her soccer edicate. We kicked a ball out for an injury on the field and instead of throwing the ball to our keeper to be fair because we had contriol of the ball when it was kick intentionally out of bounds, she instructed her girls to push forward and my keeper was standing on the 18 line waiting for the ball. They threw the ball over my keepers head and tried a back door goal. Luckily it was shot wide. Poor ethics from the coach. The ladies only did what they where told, no hard feeling to them. They played a great game.

What is edicate? Is that the Texican version of the french word. and why would anyone expect it on North Texas Soccer Fields?
