New Mexico player going crazy(old)

I never saw the entire episode of the New Mexico girls outrageous actions. I only saw the 3 incidents, but wow, she was going crazy the whole game.

Oh yeah. Lambert was banned "indefinitely" as I recall. At New Mexico, "indefinitely" means two games because she was back on the field for the third match after her MMA bout that went viral. What a head case.

I remember seeing a vid where they showed what led up to alot of these. I know on the first one where she punches the BYU player in the back, it was in retaliation for a nasty elbow to the gut. I guess you can hand it to BYU for being able to bait her into going over the top. Not that she's guilt free, but I think if the tit-for-tat were shown BYU would be getting talked about as well.

The elbow was in retaliation for getting pinched. This girl was a total nightmare the entire game. My question, why was she like this? What made her think that all this was ok? Has she always played like this her entire career? Where do players get the idea that this is ok?

This may help a bit.

The Refs and coaches are why. Maybe right before a game. The refs and coaches are given a friendly reminder such as " A smash to the face or a swift kick to the gut". They would have a better understanding of why certain things are fouls.

After seeing this video, i would have to put new mexico on my list of colleges to visit!

I went there for 3 years. You will see/meet/interact with some strange individuals there.

Good experience or bad! I had a chance to play against there men's team two years in a row home and away games. They were a good team!

Both I guess. I met my wife, and we married, had the first dd, and then moved back to Texas and finished school.

Good - Enjoyed my teammates (wrestling) had a lot of fun, met actual commune-living-hippies, and all kinds of other people.

Bad - had way too many girlfriends (before I married), partied way too much, basically flunked out.

New Mexico overall - stagnant economy when I was there, and from what I have gathered since. Strange political brew (ranchers, defense workers, hippies, native americans, and (since I was there) Hollywood elites.) The landscape is dry and usually brown, except if you stay in the mountains, a shorter ski season usually than Colorado/Utah. The governments' montra was "This is the land of manana" so no one got anything done timely. (I think it took almost a year from my last state income tax filing to get my refund, and I have had two clients here that swore they would never do business in NM again becasue of the gov't)

You know that Parents would NEVER EVER create a DD who played this way (she said with fingers crossed behind her back). It has to be the coach, the ref, Sun/Moon conjunction, water, hormones......................
