Looking for some feedback on the Street Soccer Academy. My DD has been accepted in, and just loooking for what others who have used them have experienced. Has anyone just trained with them and then gone on to make a top tier club as they promote?

I wasn't impressed...they seemed very disorganized. Plus, everybody gets accepted...that's a marketing gimmick, I think. But if you can accept that and just look at it as extra coaching and extra touches on the ball against other top players, then it's a great deal. Most of the girls out there are the really dedicated ones from top teams.

I would agree with that statement.

Our DD loves it, has built great confidence for her and I would highly recommend it. I would also disagree about the disorganized, everything has a purpose and constant movement with the ball. She loves it and to see her speed of thought and touch improve each week is great. With my younger one I will skip the academy process a little longer and just do this. Just my two cents from experience.

Hi, although my dd hasn't participated in the Street Soccer Academy, she did work with Shannon in skills and he helped her tremendously. Her overall confidence improved as did her ability to understand and read the field. She worked with him for a year. The only reason we didn't stay was the long drive across the metroplex.
