Grubbs handled FCD blue easliy as expected and Higgy beat Gio soundly. The FCD game was one-sided, but missed the TXN game-anyone have any insight did Gio's fast frwds break thru Higgy's mid and defense to put up any shots, did they cross mid line?
I did see the Sting win as a little upset but Sting has several key players, including great keeper and a great Coach so they will be strong I'd say with some disgruntled players leaving top teams Sting could be a top three powerhouse next year. I can see Colvin girls bolting for Sting , also 1 or 2 Higgy girls and maybe 1 from FCD. Bam -top 3 team plus Q-mar.
Not sure the disgruntled players from other teams could just walk on over and make the Sting team now. I don't care that their old jerseys may say Grubb or Higg or Colvin. I saw some real players on Sting last weekend. Won't be easy to win those spots.

Was there a satisfaction survey of Colvin and Higgy players that we missed?

I think its more the natural order of things. A lot of super motivated parents want their DD on "the best of the best" team going into first year of select. Then after year one, many of these folks find out there is not enough play time to go around. They think their DD deserves a starting spot and 50+ minutes a game of play time, damn it! They realize that they MUST become a starter and be lined up for an ECNL club for when they get to U14. So the summer before year two of select has a lot of musical chairs to get this play time thing sorted out. Sting is an ECNL club so its a top destination.
