They have 15 or 16 very talented players. Scores dont mean anything, it's the final personal results for each player that real make a difference. I watch them because they are fun to watch. Great coach and for what I see classy parents. Good luck to all the teams this weekend hope every girl on every team succeeds as years goes by. We will see in the near future what team had the most talented coach and players. Scores don't define quality!!
Actually the Texans roster is more talented top to bottom. We have played both and been beaten by both. It seemed to me the Texans don't lose a beat when they make changes. FCD play looks to slow a bit on substitutions. FCD has two or three stellar players, that seems to be the difference. Texans play very hard very physical and are huge. Neither goalie ever gets tested. So you wonder who has the better goalie. Could it possibly come down to one keeper error.
Depaucas, are you referring to FCD Premier, FCD Blue, or FCD South? I find these comments interesting. Are you saying that soccer is a game of individuals and individual achievement and not really a team sport and therefore scores don't matter?
Yoda, what do you mean by Texans roster is more talented? Are you saying they are more talented in terms of technical skills, ball control, first touch, tricky dribbling skills? Or are you saying they are better overall athletically with speed and power?

This is a point well made...proof of this today with Texans against FCD Blue. Both teams showed equal aggression, possession and skill during the entire game. Score was 2-1 and FCD dominated at the end, hungry to tie it up. Texans seemed a bit scared and thus did what they could to just clear the ball out towards the side. It's gonna happen eventually.

All Texans could do was foul and cry foul. Both texans goals were long range shots from behind 18 aided by wind. Not many other shots or offensive runs by them that looked great either. They appeared to have 6-7 kids parked at defensive. But still looked disorganized and confused.
I didn't see the first Texans goal. But the second looked like a solid shot that took FCD by surprise. Yes it was wind aided. But so was the FCD goal in the 2nd half. The second half was very physical with both teams having opportunities in and around the 18's. Yes, FCD looked hungry. The Texans defense was likely challenged more than they have been accustom to being challenged in the 1st half of the season. They were probably a bit frazzled. The texans did not park 6-7 in the defensive end any more than FCD did. However, the Texans did make some significant pushes to challenge FCD.... into the wind. The better team won. This game will not be a barometer for the much anticipated end-of-season FCD Premier v Texans match or for any other Texans games this season. Higg will see to it.
