LP Reina just registered for the PrimeTime Summer Classic – (May 3-5th)and they are still taking late registrations this week if anybody would like to join us!

I was leaning more towards PT since it's almost $100 less, but the decision always comes down to which teams play where. Aren't you with Rase 05? Will you be playing in the 05 division?

We just played the PT tourney on fields MCD and MCE (9v9 fields) and they are already in bad shape I would hate to see the dust bowl that will be left of them after the cup this weekend and the PT event on the 24th... Come June 7th those fields will be brutal. Five Star looks awesome right now as does Cox... Definitely worth the extra $100

Good option for those who have players who want to play and cannot put together a full team!

Quickfoot runs a great 3v3 tournament. I would highly recommend it as well.

This is a great tournament where kids can play with friends who aren't teammates or can put together a team from their own if they are off for the weekend.

Games are played with two 12 minute halves, quick paced, maximum touches and maximum fun in a family atmosphere!

The tournament definitely lived up to expectations. I spent the better part of 2.5 days out on the fields and really enjoyed watching the soccer being played. Some notable games:

AFC Black's big win over LP Hyypia (1-0) - this was the shocker.

Kicks beat LP Hyypia (1-0), knocking LP out of a chance for the semifinals, which to me was a surprise but LPH has changed a lot in the last few weeks.

LP Rush and D'Feeters Black played to an awesome 3-3 tie that was back and forth up until the last couple of minutes with some great goals.

LP Rush routed AFC Black in one semifinal (5-0) and Kicks were able to fight off D'Feeters (2-1) for a win in the other.


As was mentioned, congrats to Kicks on their exciting win in the final. They are a steady group of girls who are able to put it together to win some close and exciting games. They beat some strong teams to raise the trophy. Well done. Here is to hoping that the next tournament that these teams meet in is just as fun.


The most exciting game of the tournament was probably the U8 Boys final. It is relevant here because it was a FC Dallas boys team against Striking FC, which is a team of LP RASE girls and a Lady Aztecs player. The girls had no problems in bracket play or their semifinal. However, they were losing by a couple of goals in the final, tied it up before the final whistle but then lost when it went to PKs. Very fun to watch and a great effort by the girls.


U90C put on a great tournament!

Other than not having enough refs the whole tournament, it was great. I hope they can really work on that for the next one.

Heard RASE is planning to play Triumph that weekend due to the lack luster field conditions at Mcinnish (And excellent fields at Five Star)

D'feeters 05 black is playing primetime summer shootout (May 24th -26)

D'feeters white is playing (June 7th - 9th)
But has not confirm which tournament yet.
