MY mind fell towards a more fair vision of your keen-mind OR all-loved humor, that being almost now have enough cross-game (2 league data using two top 04s leagues) to create a mini-FBR resulting in a tight vortex of top 1-8th skilled teams in 6-8 rounds. Not that bwgophers would have the 24-36 hours required for this pointless selfishly planned endeavor (yea leaning more toward one than the other as an explanation of your "GO" persona).

Perhaps someone else here that is successful enough or down-lucked enough (the "long term" 124 week folk or new "normal term" infinity and forever unemployment peeps) could volunteer enough time to put a human based ranking (still pointless) together using the tightly restricted parameters.

Yes very fun round of soccer on the SDL side of things this weekend. Solar looking strong and will end up 3-4 end of season.

Actually maybe we could have lost to some teams not from NTX. So you missed in entirely. Wasn't great to drive 4 hrs to play local teams and with rase 03 and fc dallas east being in it our odds of winning the whole thing wouldn't have been that great no matter what.

When was the last time RASE 04 played Sting Mendoza or FC Dallas East Predator prior to this weekend?

Not too long for sting but FCD east was a different team the last time we same them. We could still play them here minus the hotel and drive. Personally I think it sucks. If you have a tournament and bring teams from out of town in you should make some effort to have them not play each other. It was just a bonus that the TSC top team was set in a bracket to win. The other was set in one for a likely wildcard. Now I am no BWG and I called it before the tournament started. Oh the sting and fcd games were great games. I would play them and teams like them every weekend. Just wouldn't want to go 4hrs to do it.

Really? How would you of set it up? Looks like there were 5 Tx teams and 5 Okie teams. If they set it up for you guys to play all Okie teams then the other Tx teams would of been screwed and played all Tx teams! Why should RASE get special treatment as opposed to the other Tx teams. No matter what there was going to be one bracket with only one Okie team. If you handled business you would of got to play the other Okie teams.

I believe it was more the format... You had a gold and silver division in 10u and 11u that played 8v8. You had teams from Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska in 10u (8v8). Im sure TX teams and OK teams would have enjoyed playing them. TD should have been more diverse with 10u (11v11).

Like Mcik17 said, there were 5 TX teams and 5 OK teams, It looks to me like all of the other TX teams had to play at least 1 TX team. It just so happened that the mighty RASE had to play 2. How dare they, do they not know who you guys are??? Get over it GO, s&@t happens!!

to play a format they don't play in.

Probably a stupid question, but didn't everyone already know the format prior to registering for the tournament or did they just spring it on the teams when they arrived? I'm not sure I've seen a tournament that the format wasn't posted loud and clear prior to the tournament taking place.

LMAO! RASE, THE most hated team in the 04 Age Group.

I'm sure format were posted on site. The applied team list don't indicate what format each team applied for. Maybe they should but dont think that would ever happen. Its best to draw the teams there then give the schedule later.. Kind of sux.

Just looking at the applied team list under 10u would get anyone excited hoping to get to play someone new especially from another state.

I understand your point Mcik17.. So unfortunate driving 4 hours for LP teams and other Texas teams to play each other sux'd too..

One last remark on this. The TD has the right to make the tournament as competitive for all. I truly believe moving teams from 8v8 to 11v11 was possible.

Just like when I went back and checked semi's, they moved TSC Amos 03 to play against RASE 03 when Amos was original scheduled to play the winner of Pool B which was FCD east. Hmmmm...

It's called home cooking. and no it's just as you remebered. Very nice people, horrible officials, fields were eh, but the hotel was nice and they put all the girls in close rooms on the same floor so they had a great time. I felt sorry for anyone else unlucky enough to be on that floor
