I'm getting really close here, just a few more clues and I'll have it.

Unlike Andro, and other clubs, Dallas Rush will have deep pockets. Especially with the Euro being worth more than the dollar. Because of their dues structure and elite facilities, they will compete with the large and "cheap" small clubs.

I think I speak for all of us when I say we prefer the terms "inexpensive, economical, and affordable"

From what I have heard from multiple sources it is a little less than $2K and that does not include uniform.

That's two VERY bold posts (first promised best facility in the state) regarding this new club from you. Anything concrete to back it up?

Re: Dallas Rush=More Competition =?
A large chunk of the fees we pay are for coaches’ salaries. So, with discounted fees, does that mean the Rush coaches will be making significantly less that the market's standard? (I seriously doubt that.)
If your response to that concern is that savings will be made up in other areas... There are only so many spaces the budgets can be trimmed. There are $100s here and there but most costs are consistent for all clubs in NTX.
Where are the other reductions to be had for Rush to get reimbursed (and profitable) off of these new facilities? Ownership is a liability. It’s not an asset if you’re losing money on it.
If they're just going to make up these issues with volume, then how are they different than any other big club in this area?
<$2000 in fees and top-class facilities, why would an investor agree to do that? They’ll never get reimbursed. They're not coming into this market to lose money. Rush is a big business after all.

Before they compete, they have to be something. Right now they are nothing but a press release and the ramblings of an anonymous poster. How many clubs promise to build a training facility? How many actually do?
Wake me up when there is something tangible.

I'm still scratching my head over the Euro reference.

Re: Dallas Rush=More Competition =?
Androfan aka Kicksfan wrote:Well, somebody here has the cost. Less that 2k is great DEPENDING on what is included. When its all said and done its the same as everyone else I'm sure.
And academy fees??
Academy fees - $80
Select- Under $2000/player includes up to $1800 tourney budget for the team to use & league fees for fall and spring season. The team is responsible for collecting any additional funds if they choose to do so- for ref fees, more tourneys, out of town expenses for coach etc..
Uniforms (Adidas) - $175 for select kit- 2 game kits(home & away), 1 practice kit, backpack. $70 for warm-ups, and about $35 for extra practice kit. (Total w/ additional funds for the above mentioned items and this will vary with each coach and team depending on needs of the team - approx. $2800/player)
For example last yr we paid about $3150 including the extras being collected up front & $370 for uniform kit... with this scenario, you are looking at about a $500-700 savings depending on how much the team budgets for the other stuff. (last yr total-$3520)
Hope this helps anyone considering Dallas Rush

The Dallas Rush website has information on skills for next week and try outs on July 1-3rd.
Yes there are teams that are joining as intact teams with their coaches.

It is the daily fee for a Rush Academy player. It gets you 30 minutes on a shared patch of grass between the sidewalk and the woods at Turner field. It is a great value.
