It looks like the ranks of the '07's has grown considerably since our last posted list.  Would love to find out where everybody plans to play in the fall:  SDL?  CFBAL?  PT?

Stark Dallas Rush is still evaluating which league, but it looks like SDL for now. Also, there is another 07 Dallas Rush team- the coach is Llamas

Futbolitas '07 is going to play in Primetime.

LP 07 Keegan will play Primetime 07 gold in Grapevine.

 

If anyone would like to set up some scrimmages to prepare for the fall, message me!

CFBAL coming back for its 4th successful academy season! Sign up for one of the most respected and enjoyed academy league in the Carrollton/Farmers Branch area directed and scheduled by Nicole James. Register to play on some of the finest fields (Cox was voted a close second in best fields in the metroplex) with some of the best competition! CFBAL also allows you to pick the division your team will play in. Registration is now open and will be until August 9th – season will begin on Sunday August 25th.

Either way...those sting 6 year olds either are in great shape or will be. 50x80 is HUGE...

I thought it crazy too before I started doing the math and realized that my older DD started around the same time. Hard to believe the 07's have been playing some sort of soccer for 2-3 years now.

Also, does anybody know how big the SDL fields are? I've sent a message to PT asking the same about the PT North fields in Corinth.

UAL are 40x60

I think SDL similiar to UAL but not certain.

40X60 is 120 feet by 180 feet = 21,600 sq feet

50X80 is 150 feet by 240 feet = 36,000 sq feet

Or 66% bigger field...

I don't get why anyone would want to play 8v8 with 6 year olds... but whatever - I guess it is good exercise for them.

Stay away from the big fields as long as you can, it's not helping your kids become better soccer players. All it's doing is adding more players to a roster and thus more money in the pocket of the club and coach.

Sometimes I wish the NTX soccer machine would just implode and we could start it all over again.

I knew the number of 07 team would blow up, but I have to say 40+ teams at this point is surprising to me. I am curious if anyone has any history here with other age groups. My assumption this is pretty unusual…I know at one point the 04 teams hit 100 team, but I wonder if they had 40+ before the U7 fall league even started?
