Any takes on outcome of Labor DayTournament? Who will be top teams of each bracket?

Here's mine:

Gold flight- FC Dallas Blue

Silver A- FC Dallas Black or Feets ( Wombough)

Silver B- Mutiny or Solar Gold

OK - how does D'Feeters 02 (LHGCL D1 team) get put in Silver A bracket when there are LHGCL D2 teams (such as Celtic; Cosmos; and Sting North) in Gold ???

Anyone know when schedules will be available?

MommaBear is the one with the intel. Seems like they may have lost a lot of their players. Not sure what the team will look like. The coach is probably using the Silver bracket to iron out any issues before the season begins.

D'Feeters will be playing in gold bracket. Tournament
made a mistake. They beat 3 of the 4 gold teams listed from d-2 in the Summer Classic Tourney this month. Players are all good and ready to play.

All mommabear1 has to say about Feet is that I'm glad they are moving up to Gold. My dd's team is in silver A and I certainly wasn't lookin forward to her playing against them. Phew!

Got this today-


The tournament has experienced a thirty percent increase in team registrations. We have added two soccer complexes to the tournament. Also last night when vandals rendered one soccer field unplayable at a Plano park, we have moved that field's games to another Plano park. Further information on the complexes and parks will be emailed tomorrow.

The preliminary game schedules will be released tomorrow rather than today as previously shown on the tentative pre-tournament schedule.

Gold-Solar Red 02 or Texans South, not that familiar with OK teams so maybe a spoiler from OK

Silver A-Solar Chelsea Red 03, very good team, would have liked to see them play in gold

Silver B-Mutiny or Dallas Rush Azul

Anyone have any idea....... Is the tournament still using UTD to play games at? What other fields? Is that part of the hold up on the schedules

Updated schedules on the PYSA site...our team changed brackets and all game times/locations/opponents. Those original schedules were VERY preliminary.

TSC Teams are sending there 2nd and 4th teams, both playing in the gold division. 02 Lewis should not be playing in the Gold. Not sure they can compete in the silver. 02 Griffin is the old Blitz team from what I hear. The best 02 team from TSC is going to St. Louis.

I predict a weekend of the rising solar sun. Solar Red 02 wins Gold beating Texans South in the final, Solar Red 03 wins silver beating Fury. Don't have a feel for the teams in bronze.

I thought I had seen some pretty crazy behavior from girl's parents. But I learned today that we have NOTHING on those boy's parents. Watched the game prior to ours on the field where we were scheduled, and those parents were psycho!

Sucks the refs dont know the FIFA rules and cost 02 girls a chance at the championship
LAW 14 states that if the player does not wait for the whistle and kicks the ball and it does not go into the goal the kick is not retaken. Double overtime down to pk's (2-1) and the ref lets this particular player shoot again costing a team a chance at championship. Wow!

Any commentary on games? There were 6 D1 teams playing. South took it home.

Congratulations to DT South for another stellar performance. With this teams chemistry and NEW additions this team will be the team to watch this season. What a great coach and group of girls.

Lots of good soccer this weekend!! Heat was ridicules.
