This was a crazy tourney 16 teams for 1 spot and It was points only no playoff. We won all 3 with shutouts I hope it will be enough

Looking at the results now it will come down to the Liverpool Keegan score and the Kicks score. Neither score has been posted yet. It looks like it will come down to one of those two.

I believe it's Kicks with most goals scored at 7. Keegan had 6.

Tie Breakers
Tie Breakers will be determined in the following priority:
(1) Point Total
(2) Head to Head
(3) Goal differential, the number of goals scored minus the number of goals allowed
(4) Most Goals scored
(5) Fewest Penalty Card Points, the card points will be figured using one point for each yellow card and
two for each red card.

I think this is the mess nobody wanted and why people were suggesting a playoff.

Tie breakers are:
Point Total
Head to Head
Goal Differential
Most Goals Scored
Fewest Penalty Card Points

they should put them both esp since they didn't get to play each other
they have the same points goal diff at 6 each. It was dumb to take div1 to 10 teams in the first place but then having 16 teams try for one spot was crazy and to have that without playoffs is just stupid

Playoffs where all last season, all they had to do was finish in the top ten and keep their roster. The fact that there were 2 spots open and they did a placement tournament, I think, is great.

Now, they should have had put more thought in to it, and take the top 4 or top 6 or whatever and had a playoff so who gets in doesn't rely on the 6th tie breaker. Have them play head to head!

I see that Lightning is going to Arlington, so does that mean Liverpool '00 Keegan and Dallas Kicks are both Division I Plano.

It would be cool if both got in. I would hate to see it come down to goals scored when they have the same goal differential.

I have a question though. If you look at the actual scores of the game, the kicks scored 6 goals in one game. Do they take that into account when determining the Goal Differential (especially in a tie breaker situation)? Or does it just come into play in Most Goals Scored?

No, Lightning finished 17th last season so did not have a bye. Only 1 team added to the 9 teams with a bye.

NASL - GA = GAS
It means nothing for this tournament. It's not one of tiebreakers listed.

I would say Kicks '00 is in. They both had 27 points and first tie breaker is goal differential and it does not list a max. taking the scores of the kicks wins (3-1, 6-0 and 1-0) they are +9. Keegan is (1-0, 2-0 and 3-0) are +6.

PT - 3 point scoring system (3 for win; 1 for tie; 0 for loss)
NASL - North American Scoring System -
               10 point scoring system (6 for win; 3 for tie; 1 for goals scored up to 3, 1 for shutout)
H2H - Head to Head play (uses 3 point scoring system)
GAS - Goals Against Score (NASL - GA = GAS)
GA - Goals Against
GF - Goals For (scored)
PEN - Penalties (1 for yellow, 2 for red)
GAPG - Goals Allowed Per Game (Matches Played / GA = GAPG)
GPG - Goals Per Game (Matches Played / GF = GPG)
Win% - Wins / (Matches played - ties)
