Most likely due to the high number of girls trying out. This is the final session. The coaches probably need to have the opportunity to really see each girl.

What is the 1-4pm slot about? The only email I received was the 8-11am time. Are they split up by position again?

Morning session for my dd.

Is there for sure an afternoon session too?

To be honest I'm not sure how they can effectively choose.... sooo many kids out there.

From our team, 1 in morning and 1 in afternoon. This weekend will be a lot of 11v11 so I would think they would mix up positions. I really don't think it means anything. It just 2 time slots.Very Happy

2002 & 2003 Girls...8:00 AM - 11:00 AM (Players Per Email Received from NTX Soccer Office)

2002 & 2003 Girls...1:00 PM - 4:00 PM (New Players Who Haven’t Attended Any Tryouts Sessions Yet & Players Per Email Received from NTX Soccer Office).

Meaning dont just show up for any session... Email where sent out giving time for your dd to attend the correct one..

Yes--I have an 02 who made it and an 03 who didn't. Got both emails within about 30 minutes of each other.

I guess I missed the 03 ODP announcement. Anyone know why they did try outs for both the 02s and 03s this year? I thought the 03s would be next year.

They are starting a year earlier now.

Will the '03s selected to the pool practice in an '02-'03 age group or in just an '03 group. Also, will the '03s be eligible for sub-regional camp on OK or just the '02s. The NTX website doesn't mention anything about the '03 attending camp. Very uninformed about all this.

If I remember correctly, you will train within your 03 group and camp will be early June at the university of Oklahoma.

My 02 boy was selected, and when my husband asked the coaches at tryouts we were told there would be 6 combined teams of 18 02/03 players. Not sure if it's the same for the girls, I know they had a much higher turnout.

I believe this is what I heard: 300 girls total tried out

200 - '02
100 - '03

5 - '02 teams being formed
2 - '03 teams being formed

Can anyone else confirm this?
