new_to_the_pitch, I am one of parents for FCD-Dewitt and we dropped out of that league right when we found out it was going to be played in Grapevine. Chance explained to our manager that he was aware and that there would be another team in that slot to play Liverpool. Just dont think Primetime had it figured out what they were going to do. We are playing in SSDL and UAL.

Dropped because of Grapevine? If the Fort Worth, Keller, Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine, Arlington, and south Dallas teams had that attitude, we wouldnt be the soccer power house we are know for. The teams in those towns have been making the haul up to McKinney, UTD, Plano forever. With that attitude we would be....Houston. Maybe

I heard that not enough players. Lost some of his core players. You gotta understand that parents get tired of only playing 6v6 all the time. They want to play 9v9 and 11v11 like the rest of the top teams. Dewitt has changed practice times, practice days and locations and still can not get players (or keep them).

Nocrying, all you have always tried to do is ruin our coach. It's ok, we know you don't like him, everyone on boards know you don't, yet he is still nice to ur dd when he sees her and is respectful to everyone.... Glad our coach has class, bc I know I wouldn't be able to be nice in public to you.. We don't like parents tht mooch for free training. We are glad u found your new team , after five or 6 tries. We have enough or we wouldn't be playing in a 9v9 league? We haven't played 6v6 since your DD was there....we have everyone of our core still.... Everyone that is committed to development and not just about being on the top team when our dd is only 9..... He does great with my daughter, she has been with him since the beginning. And we moved locations bc the FCD East fields, aka Rowlett Community Park is closed for the summer..... Get ur facts straight nocrying,...... Good luck w your new old team coach, or whatever ur doing.....

, you claim that he is a saint. The fact that you know so much about me and my "alleged" financial shortcomings, how would you know about them??? How would you know that I "allegedly" did not pay fees for FC Dallas? Did Dewitt tell you? Does not sound like a saint to me if he goes around telling people about their financial status after they leave his team. But since I think you are Dewitt, it only makes you a sick person to be on these boards with multiple screen names in order to bash other people and coaches. So which one is it GoBig? SoccerallDay17? coachd10?

I'll chime in... Nocrying, your past arguments with various people on this board regarading this topic have included the financial aspects of the above post. I don't have a kid on any team that you have been on, but from reading this board, I knew what all was mentioned above.

You are funy how you still have been able to twist this into how Dewitt is a bad person and I am him and he has multiple screen names.....you have a crazy mind. People know you don't pay fees in a general rule of thumb. I'm sure he has done something he shouldn't have done in his lifetime, he isn't a saint, but I know it is great for my dd and she was one of first to start with him when we came from rec.

I could really care less what people think about me. our lives do not revolve around soccer. Soccer is just a small part of our lives. It could easily be basketball, softball or volleyball. Not looking for scholarships, just some competition. And your comment about being one of the "originals", and you're still there!!! I guess you don't get tired of seeing other girls that have been through your team and are now on other teams having success and playing competitive soccer.? Don't you get tired of not being able to play a 11v11 game with permanent teammates?

Ironic you are throwing out the permanent teammate remark considering you have moved your DD to several teams to guest play or join the team. So, what you are implying is, you are tired of people like yourself who bounce from team to team?

Isn't that the truth jsullivan. He claims there is something wrong w being committed to a team..... See problem is nocrying, all u care about is winning and soccer. U just claimed this isn't your life yet you have over 250 posts and you bad mouth coach after coach. I mean for you to say this isn't ur life, then u are not thinking straight, u constantly claim to know everything about every team and every coach, which implies to me that you text, call and gossip all week on boards, in person and on phone..... This is all you got, this is your life......... S don't claim it's not.

At this age, yes we want to win, but I also just want my dd to love playing and continue to develop. If she doesn't like the team and coach, then we would be gone, but she loves him..... I want my dd to develop and ave love for game, and she does.... So committed to our coach we will be!!!

Hope u can stay committed for at least the whole season......

What does that matter? Pretty sure you might need to change your screen name to don'tlikespendinggasmoney or ihatedrivinginmetroplextraffic? As nocrying put, I have been traveling for 4 years with 2 dd's all over and I could not think of a reason why we would pull our team from having to go to another associations location. I might be missing something but it is part of the process.

yes maybe I should change the screenname to that. Would at least be more interesting. Or maybe put a # in front of it, like all the kids these days. Smile

No truthfully it was a team decision, we just decided on another league. And we told the league about 3 weeks ago. Just something that wasnt fixed.

As far as driving, I completely agree, we drive way too much as soccer parents, all over texas. The sacrifices we make!! But they are worth it

Dewitt and I have a long history. He posted that I did not pay fees for the month that I was on his team BUT yet I paid for league fees and even ordered my team uniform. Then he posted all that info on here along with my name, address and daughter's info. I had to call his employer at his school and club supervisor. So that's why I mentioned it. I don't claim to hide behind a screen name. I'd post a picture of myself but when your an overweight Hispanic guy, you don't take good pictures.
