What's up with having parent line judges? Didn't want to pay those union line judges overtime? 5:20 game at Lake Park field 7.

The 07 team is definitely a special group. As well as the 08's.
The 13's are a promising group as well.

I still would prefer to have JM coaching. He seems to be able to teach his system and vision of the club best. ie his flag ship teams.

I apologize for that. It was the first time in a LONG time that one of my tournaments needed club linesmen. I have used these two assignors for the last few tournaments with full coverage of game. I have been assured by my referee assignor for U7-U9, that games will have three officials on Sunday.

While the comment may have been classless, let's be real. There's A LOT more wrong with soccer in NTX than a random comment made among adults on a soccer forum.

In reality, JM may be the only coach that is actually combating a real problem with soccer in NTX. His focus on talent over size is why his team is an unstoppable force. I've seen those little ones run circles around much bigger (and older) opponents that are on the field because they are two sizes bigger than better players on the bench. Skills win every time.

On a more positive note…I also want to throw out some praise to Dom. cheers

I am not sure what everyone’s experience was, but our games ran smoothly. I am not saying there is not a couple of things I would liked to see changed…but well run from our view point and what I believe to be in the TDs control. Also, regardless of issues Dom does a tremendous job of communication leading up and during the tournament. I have done the TD role and it is never easy and I know you had several challanges...so well done Dom from my view point.

I have no idea who wrongsided is but appears to be an 03 parent of some team. Those comments are way off but you cant control who posts on the forum.

Kicks had nothing but positive experiences this weekend with parents of Rush, SRSA and Barnes. Roach and Kicks even had a joint picture at the end.

IMO...the top 3 teams were in bracket A. Roach is very good too, just not as deep as Barnes or SRSA.

Thanks. I have some ideas for improvements for the Memorial Day tournament and next November.

great tournament all around.. a few wrinkles here & there but nothing earth shattering or worthy of a 5 page thread as we have seen in the past.

Congrats to Kicks & LP for their wins (didn't catch the other scores). I've seen Kicks play off & on the last year or so and must say JM continues to do a phenomal job with his girls. They are not the biggest or fastest team top to bottom, but their style of play is unmatched to date.

Very good competition this weekend... hats off to all the girls. cheers

I can assure you wrongsided is not on my team. My 06 parents have been around NTX scene and know better than to post negative comments like this.

Congrats to all teams that showed well this weekend. The 06 age group is going to be very strong from what I can tell. FCD, SRSA and LP are all quality teams. These little girls and coaches earned all my respect this weekend.

The big difference is JM has dd's on the 01 and 06 team. Those are the girls teams he coaches. Those are the flagship teams. The little club is growing and you cant control other coaches decisions. The 05 team was Wizards, then Kicks and now Sting Central. The 06 team is coached by JM who started the club. Big difference between 06 and 05. The 06 team will be like the 01 team with two 06 teams with a second team to develop and eventually push for spots on the top team. It will be the 01s all over again.

I guess my next question is, does JM have more DD's and are they 07, 08 ages ? I would want to be on a kicks team that is considered a flag ship team.

I don't have anymore kids but I consider all my teams my kids. lol The 07's and 08's are very talented teams. This fall season the 07's and 06's trained together once a week and the 07's were able to keep up.
