Hurst United David Carr Memorial Service

We wish to thank the many people who have gone out of their way to offer support and consolation during this devastating time. The events of this week have been disheartening, but the kindnesses extended from both within the soccer community and the within the Hurst area has been overwhelming.

Through tears we have accepted the first refund from the tournament as a donation to The Carr Family. Several have followed suite. We cannot express enough gratitude on behalf of the family who needs the assistance.

In David’s honor, Hurst United will host a memorial service at 7:30pm this Tuesday night, November 26th, at the Hurst Community Park located at 601 Precinct Line Road, Hurst 76053. We are inviting any within our soccer community to come and join us on this evening. Please help us spread the word throughout the soccer community.

Knowing that purple was David’s color, Hurst United would like to show their respect with purple glow sticks and glow jewelry. We are working to locate these items for that evening.  Our teams will also be in their soccer jerseys.
