D2 Picks and Misses

All right here is the D2 poll for the week  

2 games in to the spring season and no commentary

Heard the Bus almost stubbed their toe agains Navy; knotted at 1 until the machine found another way to win it 2-1. Bus keeps finding ways and I hope Navy breaks through this spring

Apparently East's player pass didn't impact a rebounding Solar team with a 2-0 win for the Gold. Don't know much about the game, sorry

Heard the lights went out on Big Blue and DTFW with about 10 to go, and changed fields to wrap it up. Apparently the lights went out much sooner for the westies as I hear it wasn't much of a game at 3-0

And Feet and FC boiled a couple of eggs at 0-0. Sounds like Fc slowed the pace of the green machine and the game was pretty much played between the 18s

2 draws and an East win

In the sg fcd east game, fcd east missed its best chance in the first 3 mins. Hit the post and sg cleared. After that it moved more in sgs favor as it went on. Both goals were scored pretty early second half and then most of the game was at fcde's end.

Any info on Navy and Feet 1-1? The Bus and The Westies? East vs Peemier?

I realize we are now into week 3, but does anyone have any commentary on last nights game between Solar Gold and DT Ft. Worth? Just saw 1-0 Texans. I think this a bit of surprise.

It has already been corrected on Gotsoccer. Gold 1 DTFW 0.

The Westies are capable of surprise though this wasn't the outcome this time. Noob is correct...score has been updated. As for commentary...SG had a couple of scoring opporitunites but only able to get the one. First half was pretty even leaving it 0-0 at the half. SG came out strong in the second half with DTFW trying to keep up but let their guard down for SG to score. DTFW regained some momentum in the final third of the second half but was a little too late and couldn't capitalize.

I didn't get to see this one, but this is a pretty fair assessment from what I heard. Heard the last 5 were somewhat nervous moments because SG didn't capitalize on more chances when they had the upper hand earlier in the game and DTFW was pressing hard.
