'04 Girls FBR Rankings - 03-05-14

teams die because parents won't just let their kids play and let their performance do the talking. They turn teams political and social. We don't like this parent or that one. These are my friends so I leave that one out. They smooze the coach and manuever. It's one of the great things I like about the team. Just show up and play. Not so much of the extra BS that goes on everywhere else. And no worries I think his DD will be fine but if she isn't cutting it he can't effect the team. It was here and doing well before and will do so after. I will take a mandated (?) social outing though if you buy the beer

Every week almost every topic some how comes back to RASE haters and RASE lovers. Good for RASE for getting a bunch of Dad's so worked up about 9 and 10 year old girl's soccer.

I can deal with the parents going at the parents...long as it doesn't spill over to addressing kids or specifically putting the girls down.

Put it in perspective... It is impressive that no matter how they assembled, LW can coach them tactics and they can execute at this age. I'm sure they aren't starting ish with other girls like Cobra Kai are they? But "the media" forces RASE parents into defense mode and since their DD is on the top team...any response can come off as arrogance to sensitive parents.
I even tend to pick with RASE parents...just out of fun though cause I know in real life I can beat anyone of them up.

Plus I still think that one day...one day...DTS gon wax dat....on the pitch!! Just saying....

You may be right but I liken it to the last couple of years between DTS and SRSA. DTS got close but the gap eventually widened.

Maybe RASE move 2 of their top players up and close that gap a bit
