You may be right but I liken it to the last couple of years between DTS and SRSA. DTS got close but the gap eventually widened.

Although I think my PM system may be broken. I has of yet heard from my scottie friends or The Spirit or possible a few Left Footies Friends both old and new. I am sure it's just the system and as soon as the admin gets it sorted out all of those messages will come pouring through

OK OK first solar does have an ECNL team that the SRSA girls (and every other 03 girl in the area) will be able to try out for. Guess what? When ECNL goes the solar team in D1 doesn't just vanish into thin air. Some of those SRSA girls may infact find themselves on that MERE D1 team. Oh and speaking of D1 just had the number 1 team in the nation playing at Disney (got smashed by the Japan national team) Looked them up and they were not the hallowed ECNL and looked up their graduates and they were signing at bigger schools than many of the local ECNL girls here. Hopefully everyone at RASE is more focused on THIS weekend than ECNL

Talk to the 01 players at Defeeters about that. Suddenly, a flux of great players from both ECNL and non-ECNL clubs are testing the waters. Getting pretty crowded for the original 16.

What's the next car on this crazy train? With all of this RASE talk maybe they're next to jump off the sinking LP ship. I don't know who's next but I bet a lot more are going

And really does it matter what color a 7,8, or 9 year old wears?

I understand a specific instance or two of club hate...and a few of coach dislike..but general club bashing is pretty silly.

Not a hater. You are a little too defensive to be believin what you're sayin. I don't know why the rats are scurrying as you say, there doesn't seem to be anything different about being on a LP team but I've heard from multiple teams that they are investigating the grass on the other side. I suspect it has to do with the large number of 04 LP teams vs many other clubs that want/need 04 teams.

The SRSA team label has traditionally been applied to the powder blue Tarrant County teams that DM has started/been involved in. 00s, 03s, 06s. The Red teams use to be the first team formed out of Tarrant, followed by White and Navy. The Gold and Silver teams were the Solar North teams. No color or Blue were the Dallas teams. Various other teams in all regions have just gone with the coaches last name.

Where everything stands now with the 'SolarChelsea' naming, etc. I honestly don't know how that works.

How that sheds some light, not even sure if it's 100% correct but that's how it use to go.

Your memory goes exactly with how it was in the 98G and 01G ages. I think the "Gold" teams were the old Blackwatch club teams from the McKinney area that Solar took over?

This makes sense. Wasn't LFS Black and White last year just Solar Kenn and Solar Mata-Kenn without any color designation. Pretty sure Kenn was the top Solar team last year.

I might be showing my age here...but I seem to remember back on the boy's side..."Solar Red" was Tarrant county headed up by Adrian Solca, while just plain "Solar" was Dallas/Plano headed up by Kevin Smith. Then, I didn't have a kid that played for a few years...now I have a dd player, and I just assumed that SRSA stood for Solar Red Soccer Academy...perhaps I was mistaken.
