Never too early to think about next year
Never too early to think about next year
How will that affect Club Soccer participation for 00G next year?
If you have an older DD who went through this, what happened?
Can we expect some DDs to take a break to focus on academics and school sports?
Can we expect some DDs to quit Club altogether and focus on underwater basketweaving?
Can we expect some DDs to "double down" on soccer and "move up" to higher division / ECNL teams for college recruiting purposes?
Can we expect some teams to have a numbers issue, resulting in consolidation and foldage especially at the lower divisions?
Please elucidate and prognosticate.

Re: Never too early to think about next year
As Armanji said, LH teams will be able to keep their teams filled just as they did this year. The difficulty for LH teams will be bringing their games back up with new players. The quality of play will be impacted more than the numbers. They will be able to pull from Plano and Arlington teams.
Can we expect some DDs to take a break to focus on academics and school sports? Yes, some of the vacancies will be caused by academics, school sports and other outside activities such as cheerleading, dance, etc.
Can we expect some DDs to quit Club altogether and focus on underwater basketweaving? Actually, I have heard that Keller, Grapevine and Southlake have made this a required course, so definitely this could be a problem. This may be outweighed by the interpretive dance classes however.
Can we expect some DDs to "double down" on soccer and "move up" to higher division / ECNL teams for college recruiting purposes? Yes, this is always a factor. If your DD wants to play in college and hopes to get a scholarship, her best bet is to be on a top team that will be seen by college coaches.
Can we expect some teams to have a numbers issue, resulting in consolidation and foldage especially at the lower divisions?
I would say that there could be (as there always is) a loss of some D3 teams, however they will be replaced in QT.
There is my elucidation and prognostication.
