If a person cannot communicate his or her point without the use of profanity, then he/she need to brush on his/her communication skills. Adults dropping f-bombs when speaking to preteens is unacceptable.
There are plenty of coaches out there than can get their points across to their players without f-bombs.

Are you talking about Coach Ciero not Cicero? He was my daughter's ODP coach and we often see him on the pitch. Always talks to my DD and yes, knows her name. As far as his coaching, knows his stuff and always seems to care about his players. I was impressed at how he handled girls coming out for ODP that just weren't good. I never saw him berate or single out a girl for humiliation. I did see him take players to the side for constructive instruction. Back when you did get cut from ODP, he didn't "crush" girls that were cut. I have never heard him use extended f-bombs, but is possible. He can get excited during games but most of what he said was under his breath and in Spanish. Smile

Sounds like a nice guy; not who I was thinking of. I used 'Cicero' for irony; Marcus Tullius Cicero was a contemporary of Julius Caesar's, and was known for profound thinking and oratory. Rediscovery of his letters is said to have initiated the Renaissance.

Well that explains why my 3 seconds of googling proved not be successful. Since not many people know who you are referring to, Yes it is true. That did indeed happen. But it was 42.6 F bombs, not 42 as you mentioned.

Outstanding job.

Several took it hook, line and sinker.

2+ days for anyone to ask who he is.

That's probably a good estimate. Sorry about the confusion; 'Cicero' was supposed to be a cliche for a deep-thinker who, uh, talks real good.

People post a lot about what's wrong with NT soccer; paying a psycho like this coach to cuss out our daughters shows we've got bigger issues than player development or churning up scholarships.

If a coach dropped 42 f bombs then he has a serious problem with language skills and communication. Otherwise why would an f bomb be used to make a point.

Actually, it is a fact that repetition of your main idea is an important component of persuasive speaking. In other words, you've got to say something more than once to get people to understand it. Good speeches often repeat key words and phrases. Repetition adds emphasis to main ideas. Repetition helps listeners follow the speaker's logic. Repetition creates a style to the speech.
