Did the 05 Deleon team get dropped too or just 04 Deleon?  If this is a club issue then you would think it affected the others (Winbush and Mbemba).  If it was a parents paying dues thing, then that is a whole new can of...

04 Rush Deleon just changed to 04 Sting Deleon on CFBAL schedule, so I guess they werent booted after all.

Interesting.  05 Deleon is still listed as Rush.  Hurry, someone make up a quick rumor about how a coach can have teams in different clubs.

How can he have teams with 2 clubs? Looks fishy!

i find it difficult to believe Rush and Texans are combining and Rush will be the lead club. Texans are a/the prime club in N Texas with a solid reputation. Texans is great name to be associated with. Why would they join with Rush. Sounds like someone is trying to play games everyone around. its the same with Stark leaving Rush...the question is why?????

I don't know what goes on between the club officials and the coaches, but there is an amazing amount of coach movement going on.  The clubs must be offering something to get the coaches to move - more money or a title?

Or, are there a few parents on each team that think the grass is greener so they push the coach to move and convince the rest of the parents to go?

I guess I have never been much for change.

Really, everyone was at practice last night.? We actually had RASE's top (westside!!) player attend. Why would someone leave a #20s ranked team for a #50s ranked team????? Maybe its the "Mbemba" effect?????

You sound like someone who knows so much about this team and has an axe to grind, so do explain who left to go to this 50 or so ranked team. What positions? Thought so.

Just spoke to a Rush parent on one of the departing teams. The reason for the mass exodus by several teams is the parents revolted over the type of flowers they were asked to sell as part of an unannounced fundraiser. The parents would have been fine with being forced to sell anything but petunias. The club did not come off their position, and thus the teams left. Amazing.

Sounds like a lot of crying on here about a couple coaches leaving Rush. Sounds like they just wanted to jump before the ship sinks. Can't blame them for that.
From the looks of the CFBAL schedules and the changes that were made by Nicole, it wasn't money issues. It was confusion over what teams were going and staying with Rush. Why spread rumor about coaches not paying league fees? Sounds like some bitterness there? Maybe there were some parents with giant Egos that didn't get asked to jump off that Sinking ship Named RushDomination!!   

Their top 04 boys team jumped ship today too. Went to Andromeda.

Who was/ is the coach ? I thought the top 05 boys team already left for the Texans?

A good exercise for some overzealous '09 parent.

Save the list of coaches each year off of each club's website (at least the major ones). Then when your DD is a senior in HS, post those lists so the '19s can see how much roaming around a lot of these guys do. I would love to have that from my '97s time in select.

Truth of what happened (from what I was involved in):
Dallas Rush DeLeon 04 Blue registered for CFBAL Spring 2014
Coach angered parents about something - most of team left
Winbush 05G arrived to Dallas Rush and was told her players had to play the 04 Blue games
5th game played and no payment made - DeLeon was telling Winbush team they had to pay - they said no, they paid for the 05 spot.
Gave the 3/30 game to Sting Diaz Friday morning and I received call from DeLeon telling me he has a team (now with Sting), made payment and promised to to finish out the league play.  
Friday, I tell Diaz sorry I have to give the game back to DeLeon per his phone call to me.
Received email from Sting Boyles yesterday morning "team will be there right? have players traveling in and want to make sure."  I let the manager know - SURE Sting DeLeon will be there, spoke with the coach personally on the phone (can you see where this is going?????) have all your players drive in - game is on!

Guess who was a no-show - ding, ding, ding - you guessed it STING DeLEON BLUE 04G.   
For those that know me or have had dealings with me - this doesn't set well especially when I don't receive a text message, email or phone call saying we can't be there - I work with all my 150+ teams with respect and expect it in return.
