Sting and Odyssey tied 1-1 after regulation and extra time.
In PKs, Odyssey made 3, Sting 1. Odyssey won.
Great tournament, all teams in gold very close to each other.
Looking forward to qualifiers!!!

Regardless of the number of goals scored in penalty kicks, one point is awarded to break the tie.

If there is a player playing for more than one team in this tournament and the rules say that isn't allowed.... why is it up to other teams to due something about it and pay $100 to protest? Shouldn't the tournament director sort this out when notified this rule is being broken. I don't quite understand!

If a Tournament Director chased down every rumor and suspicion that people had during a tournament, he/she would spend the entire weekend doing nothing but that. When a team is convinced that a player or team is ineligible, they need to pay the protest fee. It is standard at 99% of tournaments in this area. If you are proven correct, you get your money back.

We had it happen in the 02's, this weekend. A team paid the $100, they were right, they got their money back, and the offending team forfeited.

It should. Once all the dust settles from the movement things should settle down.

Makes me chuckle when I read this. So one or two players movement on teams are reason for the off scores between teams? In my opinion, "Top" teams should not be losing games to lower ranked teams this close to select. The more veteran teams should be established and adding one or two should not make that much of a difference for the worse especially if you are upgrading.

A side from RASE, any top 15 team can beat any top 15 on any given day. it happens in the pros, nieve to think it wouldnt happen in 10u soccer unless u just want to rattle someones cage, 4dluv???

Glad to make you chuckle. And I must be crazy to think that adding two players to a top team would make them lose. Or that playing style and chemistry would not be a factor. Let's just add this player over here and think dang we should be better pretty quick. Losing even one key player can cause an upset.

All 04 Kicks except for 2 05s that are family to the team. Don't let the size of the team fool you. There's a handful that are small and can play the game. Props to the coaches. Girls have been working hard to compete.

anytime an 04 team is using 05's to compete this close to qualifying, i wouldn't give much props. Might want to try and compete on your own, family or not.

If your talking bout Sting Chacon, yes that are good at the long ball. It's the style they play, well they did play. I haven't seen them play in a while until this weekend. I'm sure I saw a few others that do the same thing. I agree, there has to be more to it than kick ball. Unfortunately it's a style teams are gonna have to be able to defend against. And the dust will settle once select comes around, meaning player movement.

Actually good call out, would definitely agree Sting C is solid too. much more enjoyable game of futball than what I saw couple weekends ago between a couple teams who got a lot of publicity for a few games of one-sided kickball, oh, mean soccer.
