Ha ha. Ask a LP parent how much trade-in they got when it happened to them.

Or the mandatory $150 uniform 'upgrades' LP players had to spend this July after paying full buck for the new uniforms last year. $55 for a backpack?!?!?!

Since the Texans are a limited kind of affilate sort of partner I suspect they can stay nike if they want although I would guess man u will try to switch them; verse LP with is a true partner of LP so changing made sense.

$69.82 + $59.54 does not $100 make. It doesn't make $150 either but it's closer to that than $100 unless you have some deal where you're the one person exempt from tax.
I'm sure replacing a perfectly good backpack 10 months later with a new $55 (plus tax) backpack represents great value. I don't think you'll find too many overjoyed individuals so don't make it like I'm the only one who would question it.

Sounds like a heck of a deal to me, particularly when you get another backpack for a club that is just waiting for their ECNL invitation to arrive in the mail any day now.
Oh sorry, is it too early to restart that conversation?

soccer4fun wrote:what are you talking about; did you buy the kit ? We did and it was $99.00 + tax which was $8.16. Now I'm not sure but to me that rounds closer to $100 then $150 but maybe that's how you add. Plus LP has told us that the back pack will be good for two years so there is no replacing it. It seems clear to me that you don't know what you are talking about so I'd suggest not talking about it.
I know how much my step-daughter (LP 03 player) had to pay because I paid for it!
"The backpack will last 2 years" will be true at the end of 2 years, it's hardly a fact now anymore than when we expected the previous one to be good for 2 years. I'll bet they'll be a mandatory "upgrade" package every year of some sort. Come back next year and prove me wrong.
