Bring your gas mask or prepare to be nauseated by unidentifiable smells , which best could be labeled as raw sewage....truly gross, one can only imagine when the temp is near 100...

And what genius puts fields 1 and 5 right next to a steep hill so that every ball that goes out on the hill side takes 10 minutes to chase down. Did we run out of dirt?

I have been several times and didn't notice a smell.

The fields are crowned and elevated. I heard that water drains down hill, but I don't know for sure. I'm not a genius.

Some folk are never happy.

Funny thing is Dallas Cup played most of their games there, not a peep about anything negative.

You are right. The Dallas area doesnt need anymore quality fields.

Moss park, UTD and Richland are state of the art and will do.

Thats funny since Kicks and FC Dallas teams have been practicing there since May.

Several tournaments have been played there.

Primetime will be playing league games there as well starting this fall.

Seem fairly busy out there.

Ummm wanna talk landfill and smell? What about railroad? My DD played two games at Moneygram this weekend and none of us noticed any smell. Actually thought is was a nice, well taken care of facility. The crazy hills were a pain, but the fields were much better then most of our other options. Someone will always have an issue though  Rolling Eyes

No doubt smell was nasty on Friday.  We attributed it to the rain, but it could have been my DD's backpack #soccerproblems

I don't know if Friday, Saturday and Sunday can be called isolated. The smell was a a big issue on an otherwise nice new facility. The traffic light at 35 and Walnut Hill will need some tinkering on game days... Maybe the smell will be a one weekend only situation. I heard Boys Classic League will play there in the Fall as well. If you're playing on the fields next to a slope, make sure your coach has an extra game ball at mid-field to keep play going...

Yes if it had been a World Cup game, they would have added at least 5 minutes to the game for ball chasing down that hill. Having a spare ball to swap was key, especially for the U10 division which was 20 min halves for the Friday night games...

Crowned and elevated for drainage are one thing. Playing on the side of a mountain is another.

Fields were in good shape and I did not notice a smell.
