Wonder how the 04 team she dropped is taking the fact that she has taken up a new 04 team (that will compete against her previous 04 team).

My guess is there will be another coach in place by the time that game comes around the way that team is getting the run around from Sting. What I would like to know is how the parents are dealing with this and the sell job that was presented to them by Sting. They signed up for one coach and then get two others in a couple of months.

Yes of course .... And Sting is the only club that operates this way with regards to their callous desire to "just get your money". All the other clubs are 100% concerned and committed to seeing that your DD is loved and cherished and will go to all ends of the earth to see to it that your DD is always smiling up to and beyond when she gets that (parent) coveted D1 college scholarship! Give me a break Conjigulations ..... What club's Kool Aid did you drink? They're all the same ..... Perhaps you're just too blind to see it.

I'm sorry, but I've lost track of the Sting teams we've played over the years - no offense. The only one I still recognize is Sting Cuevas.

Can someone review the current state of the others, regarding coaches and the history of the teams?

I believe you are correct. So that makes it 4 coaches in less than 6 months. I agree that it is a good team considering all the coaching changes going into and after qualifying. I also agree that most of the kids will scatter come next June.

You didn't expect that you would have some type of input over who would coach your daughter for a year, did you? Now that's just silly talk.

Agreed. But let's be honest here. Sting knew that they had some coaching issues. They had already moved some coaches in the spring. JD under NTSSA investigation and subsequently receiving a 2-year suspension. Others left. And all this happened prior to signing.

But they played it up as no big deal. Gave their little song and dance. Get the contracts signed, money in the door, and then make any changes they want - after all, we have their money.

Wow. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I wasn't saying that this club was better/worse than any other club. Nor was I trying to start a business vs soccer philosophical discussion. I actually agree with you. I think most clubs operate this way. But I was only addressing this particular team's situation. Not sure why you're directing such bittnerness at me.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but this is how it seems it has played out

Chacon is the same from academy to select

Angell is the same from academy to select

Goodman = Gutierrez
(Goodman had his team switched to Diaz going into select, Diaz got suspended, Guzman took over and now Gutierrez runs the team)

Scarfone = Donovan
(Scarfone had his team switched to Gutierrez going into select and then it got switched to Donovan)
